  • My weights are 1.5kg ones and they kill me on level two!

Had two days off because I was a bit ill, but did level two day three tonight, and before that I did a zumba workout on my new zumba fitness xbox game :D I have absolutely no coordination so it was a bit clumsy, but I definitely got out of breath!

Wait til you get to Level 3 - my arms are dropping off:rotfl:

Only 5 days left, and I genuinely don't think my stomach has ever felt so flat - got my dress fitting Saturday so let's hope it's not psychological!!!:T

I just did day 2 of level 2, I cant get the hang of all the planks. How are you meant to do the very last abs workout, the plank with knee twist thingys.... I cant do them at all! haha

So far I've lost 5 lbs in total with dieting too so I'm dead chuffed!

Had a sneaky weigh in this morning (my usual day is Monday), and I've lost another 2 pounds!!! That's 12 pounds in total now - that dress WILL fit xxx

I'm not very good at them either! I think I'm doing them right, but I don't seem to be able to twist as far as the girls, but maybe because they have super long legs they just look like they're going further?!

I do feel like I'm getting muscles, I've been getting everyone to poke my belly to feel my little 6 pack! LOL! I don't think I'll be reaching my weight loss target though, any clever ideas how to lose 10lbs in 2 weeks?! :rotfl:

  • Well, I am officially RUBBISH!!

Having hurt my knee on Day 1 over a week ago, I have not done any shred since. I think I'd built up loads of motivation from reading this thread, then waiting for my DVD to arrive, then when I couldn't do it for a few days I just lost the momentum.

So, today, after work, I will start again at Day 1 Level 1. I'm fairly sure my measurements won't have changed, but I'll do them again and post them this afternoon.

Does anyone else who has just started or is about to start wanna be my Shred buddy? I clearly need someone to kick my backside now and then, even if only a virtual kick!! :o

I'll be your buddy Sapphire. I've done it 4 times, but because of my dodgy back, rubbish upper body strength and the total inability to do the press ups without feeling weak, I do plan to do the full 10 days on level 1. I also need a good kick up the bottom.

  • No shred today, but I did go to the gym and did treadmill and weights :)

Thanks Codemonkey. I've just finished Day 1 again, and feel great! I managed not to do my knee in this time too, which is a bonus :D

I hope your back's OK, just go very carefully on the abs and strength stuff - my H2B has issues with his back but still plays football, goes to the gym and goes running; he just has to be aware of what his body's doing, IYSWIM, so he doesn't jar anything.

Don't worry about upper body strength and press ups - after 30 days you'll be much stronger. I find them really hard too, so we'll just have to cheer each other on :T

Did you manage to do shred today?
