i am goin to start it new year. its a workout by jillian michaels of biggest loser fame. its not one of these dancy ones, so if like me you have no coordination whatsoever you will be fine. all you need is enough room to lie down in and some weights but at first i'll just be using tins of beans. i am going to measure myself new years day and will post on here. i am determined to tone up and look hot for my wedding:D

i defo need to do something. i am meant to be going to get my dress fitted and altertered in jan, but i am going to put it off until feb, coz i need to lose some weight. im only 5foot2 and have always always had a little belly- which has been fine (for me) but over the last 12 months i hate to look in a mirror. i dont feel sexy- which i really want to do on my wedding day. im going to go to boots this week and get on the scales there, and see how much i need to lose. another thing is i hate diets (im vegetarain- and a lot of the diets are boring- and i give up)
i havent heard of the 30 day shred- what is it- sounds good for my dress fittingIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

i think for me i need a exercise programme, rather than having to buy loads of special food. i did the celebrity slim diet at the start of the year- and it costs a fortune- lost nearly a stone in about 7 weeks-which was good- and hardly any excerise- more food thing than anything- but as soon as i stopped it all went back on-- so i feel i need to get more motivated in the way that i excercise- i have a treadmill at home- but it gathers dust=-- i need motivation to do it- and exercise while watching dvds etc.
in fact what i really need is a personal trainer- and boot camp (would love that- but expensive!)Is a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

Its a workout that you do for 30 days. It has 3 levels and you do each one for ten days. The great thing is that each workout is only about 24 minutes long, but she does push you. I did it for about 6 days then all three kids came down with a bug so I stopped. I could tell the difference in that short time though, but I didn't measure myself before I started which I am going to this time and maybe take photos as well. I am not changing my diet apart from cutting down on crisps and chocs.0

Well I ALWAYS put 7lbs on over Christmas, so I will definitely be doing this-I have done it previously although I didn't really grasp the concept and was doing level 1, then 2, then 3 and then repeating- and I did find it REALLY HARD- DOH!
I will be jogging as well (as I really like running and it doesn't feel like exercise) I will be cutting down on the absolute carp I Have eaten over Christmas, but I may be enjoying the odd vino or two (or three)!0 -
Good luck with the shred, I haven't done it but have read on the weight loss website I use about others that do it often. U will lose inches for sure, previously I have done the ea sports active challenge on wii and lost inches. One thing I would say is do watch what you are eating, I have learnt this over the past 4 months. As they say eat less move more, especially if you want to maintain a good shape. I joined weightlossresources 4 months ago and have lost 1st 7lbs so far, it isn't a diet you can eat every type of food, but you need to try and stay within the set calories per day for your weight and age etc. If you exercise then you can eat the calories you have burned, many don't understand that part but it works. Good luck again with the shred I might try it myself in the new year.0

I need to do some serious weight losing in the new year. I've got my measurement appointment in early May so that's 4 months to shift weight...I need to lose at least a stone, preferebaly a stone and a half. Sammy - I know what you mean about being motivated by somebody else but I wouldnt have the time to fit in another 2 classes a week as I already do belly dance and pilates. I want to find a zumba class - went to one last year but it's changed times so I cant get to it now.
But I'm going to re-start and take it seriously this time. maybe we should have a thread where we post our current stats and what we need to be by when0 -
Definitely be up for this...we should post before/after pics...to record our training. xx0
