Well guys Day 3 of the shred and I thought I'd give level 2 a go - OMG!!! There is one point when Gillian says "I want you to feel like you're dying" well Gillian mission accomplished I AM dying!! I think I'll alternate between level one and two for a few more days then give the ultimate challenge Level 3 a go and then alternate between the three for the rest of the 30 days so it doesn't get too boring. All I can say though is beware the Plank Jacks they are evil!!
Off to watch the Biggest Loser now whilst ironing so I can't cheat and eat junk food0 -
I've been so busy not had time to call in!
Everyone seems to be doing really well - I must confess I haven't started...
I have however been to Spinning Classes (booked in twice a week), and gym twice a week, and lost 5lbs last week. I will start the shred tomorrow (promise x), and aim to do it in the morning before work.
Good luck xxxx0 -
Day 2 for me, I did level one... hard work but I felt good... rested 20 minutes then decided to have a look at level 2, at one point I was literally rolling about on the floor trying to drag myself back up to standing position! Oh lordy that's hard work! Determined to stick with it though!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

day 2 done , how long are we supposed to do level one for . I feel like im dying already!0

Finally did my first day of Level 1! Pretty tough...
You're supposed to do 10 days of each level (totalling 30 days), although as I'm in a rush, and want to do JM's new 6 week DVD, I'm going to do 7 days of level 1 (which I combine with other exercise), and then do 10 days of levels 2 and 3 (hope that works!).0 -
So maybe I am a glutton for punishment but the weather here was rubbish today so as I could not get out for my 1hr walk with buggy I have spent the last hr 1/2 doing 50 minutes of pilates perfect body followed by Level 3 of the shred while my two little ones have had a sleep. I actually feel amazing, my muscles are killing but since starting this program I've had so much more energy and feel so healthy. I had to try level 3 I am so impatient now I'll alternate the levels daily I think.
Also this forum has really inspired me and pushes me to keep going everyday so thanks everyone for all the posts and thanks savingmumofthree for starting it :T0 -
Also The Biggest Loser last night was amazing I can't believe some of the contestants lost around 30 pounds in ONE WEEK!!!!!0

I haven't done any excersize today (yet!) but have been given a 7 day pass to the local gym :j and have only eaten 2 chocolates and 1 biscuit today! Am going to try to do some wii fit tonight but we have the wedding caterers coming to see us at 7 so might end up being all sweaty whilst talking to them

But how healthy is that? I know the bigger you are to start with, the mor you tend to lose early on but the gemeral advice is to aim for a couple of pounds a week. If you do that consistently you're more lilely to have adopted a healthier lifestyle and keep the weight off, rather than lose loads only to pile it on again when you have a moment of weakness!0 -

Yes very true but some of them were 30-40 stone so they needed to lose a lot - it was only about 5% of their bodyweight according to the show!!0
