Can I join please? I've just weighed myself for the first time in about 6 months and discovered I weigh nearly a stone more than I did then:shocked:! The major problem with that is that I get married in 4 months, and was told not to lose any weight before the wedding because my dress fitted perfectly...oops! :eek:
I'll find the dvd on amazon but until then (and hopefully after I have that too) I'll be doing wii fit stuff and walking the dog more (she had a pup 6 weeks ago, so our daily hour long walk went out the window:o). I've just measured myself, so I'll hop onto the other board and put the depressing info on there..

Hi and welcome to all the new shredders. Day 4 for me today. I'm hoping it starts to get easier soon. Am doing the easy versions of things as well! Oh forgot to mention for those still waiting for the DVDs you can get snippets of the workout on youtube. How often is everyone measuring theirselves? Don't know if to do it weekly, after every level or just after the 30 days?0

I'm going to measure and weigh weekly cos I think I'll be doing the shred for more than 30 days and my goal date is August 6th so want to keep up the good work til at leats then [I'm hopinh it'll be normality by then so that I want to continue after].0 -
It's my fourth day of not having sugar and it's sooooo hard I've got such a sweet tooth - I've found I really have to keep busy especially in the evenings to stop myself just vegging in front of the tv with a big bag of sweets or biscuits!! My ironing pile is non existant atm haha!!0

I think I will be continuing after the 30 days as well. Going to do this 30 days just using tinsd of beans for weights then going to get some weights and start it again.0 -
I plan on going just over the 30 days as we go away to get married in 39 days (!!!) so I really hope I manage to stick to it as I've left it a bit late! :eek: I'm going to have to swim constantly for the first week we're there so I stay in some sort of shape... then after the wedding I can let myself go! :rotfl: Not for long though, I'm a BM in July and my dress is way too small so I've got a lot of work to do to squeeze into it!
I did my first session last night and it was pretty hard going but I struggled through even though I was growling at her because I was tired and she wouldn't let me rest! Feeling a little achey but that's a good thing, looking forward to doing it again tonight!

just wondering...as this thread may get very large...whether we should have a monthly thread that's for general diet/weight loss rather than specifically shred. I'm not doing shred but am watching my diet and doing more exercise, and I'm initally aiming at 7 May which is when Linda comes at me with a tape measure :eek:
They do a similar thing on the health, beauty board but that gets very busy...if we did one here it needn't be restricted to brides-to-be but may be a bit less cluttered than in a more general area0
