  • I bought this DVD months and months ago.....its still in its wrapper lol!
I will do this with you, i need the motivation, as i get married on 28th May.
I am also doing Weight Watchers and have lost 1stone in about 10 weeks, so hopefully doing both will help.

omg yesp please im up for a bit of this, once i get the shred dvd first
im gonna measure tops of arms, bust, around belly button, around hips, and tops of thighs,
basically everywhere as im not a person but a lump of jelly lol
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

  • Typical! Woke up feeling like poo. Can hardly move, was hoping I had got away with getting it ( dp and the 2 eldest had it last week). Well going to take a day of work and hope that makes me feel better in time to start this on the first. I know what you mean about being a lump of jelly. My little man was 3 weeks early and 6 pounds 12 so I wouldn't like to think how big I would have been if he went all the way. I was huge with him! Or maybe I was normal but because I'm only 5ft 3 it seemed big?
  • Feel miles better today. Am going to start a thread later where we can put our measurements and add photos if we want. Am in work til 6 so will probably be around 8 when I do it.
  • Hi ladies!

Just thought I'd make a suggestion for those who'd like to have a personal trainer or do boot camp, but aren't able to afford it. Has anyone considered British Military Fitness? The instructors are all former or serving members of the armed forces. They do classes in parks across the country, and split the group into three according to fitness (the instructors know that they are dealing with civvies not soldiers btw, so you won't get verbal abuse in your face from a scary Army Major :p) I think it costs around £30pm, but varies according to where you are in the country.

I'm thinking of joining in the next few months (when I get myself some trainers and a pair of jogging bottoms I'm willing to be seen in in public...)

Look forward to adding measurements (not sure about pics!) later...or more likely tomorrow. I've been fighting cold thing for past few days. yesterday started sneezing for England, went to bed early and feel wobbly and a bit headachey today but desperately fighting it as OH has a karaoke business and we're out gigging tonight! Sadly it isn't putting me off food...instead I'm wanting to eat everything I shouldn't. Have given up fighting food cravings today but tomorrow is when it all properly starts!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I've just e-mailed a couple of Zumba classes for details and checked on times and prices at the local leisure centre gym....am now just eating a bacon butty while considering which to do!!

I have the Zumba DVD's.... they're amazing! Soo much fun and not boring like some exercise dvds can be. There's a 10 day program thats supposed to lose you a dress a size. You do Zumba and there's a 10 day healthy eating plan included. I'm gonna give it a try in April in time for the wedding!

It's great if you like dancing and have a bit of rythm haha
What matters most is how well you walk through the fire

Zumba is brilliant...sadly my house is rubbush for doing it in...my main room is long and narrow. But I start a new zumba class (cold/flu permitting!) on Thurs 6th so really looking forward to it. Also back to Pilates on the 4th and belly dancing from the 10th. Now to try to get to grips with this healthy eating malarkey!!
  • Looking forward to this challenge. My DVDs not going to arrive in time for me to start on it properly tomorrow, but I'll dust off one of my others instead.

just a question - when people talk about waist measurements, are they talking about the narrowest bit, or is it the bit around the belly button?

I'm going to do the narrowest bit but also measure around my belly button.
