  • Course its not too late. The more the merrier. :)

Yay! :j Can't wait to get started! I'm going to measure myself, so I'll post my measurements in abit and I'm going to start Day One tomorrow now as it's probably a bit to start now. I'm gonna get out my mat and weights and dig out my exercising clothes ready so I'll have no excuses in the morning though!!!

Did mine this morning too, still on the "target toning" dvd - hopefully the shred one will arrive tomorrow, and then went for an ultra long walk (followed by a yummy pub lunch!).
Should my legs really be aching this much just 2 days into this?

My arms and legs were killing yesterday as well. I could hardly lift my tins of beans up my arms were hurting that much. I have read that day two and three are worse on the shred and if you push through it it gets better on day four.

    Hiya
I love to join too please, but I'm not getting married, I'm already married, is this a problem for this thread? I had my second little one four months ago and decided to start the shred yesterday to try and shift the last half stone. Have also cut out all sugar and am going to walk at least 1 hr everyday [which shouldn't be too hard as I've always walked loads]. If I manage to do all three everyday I'm going to put £1 in a jar and then at the end of the year I am going to treat myself to a whole new wardrobe in the post xmas sales [or possible spend half at the end of the summer and half at the end of the year - depending how I go]. My whole family are goin on holiday in the summer for my 30th bday [which was last year but I wanted to wait til both boys were a bit older] I'd love to be able to wear a bikini and feel confident by then. I'll add my measurements to the other thread once you confirm I can join you guys x

Hello! I'm getting married in 46 days (!!!!!) and really need to shift this last bit of podge that's clinging on for dear life. I've been going to the gym for a couple of months but I haven't lost as much as I was hoping to so I'm going to do the Shred as well as going to the gym (I must be mad!). I'm going to start tonight and I'll take my measurements before I start. I've done it before and enjoyed it, I think the trick is to not get too carried away on the first couple of days, I couldn't walk on days 2 and 3 last time I did it because I got cocky with my squats!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • Day 3 done :) and my OH isn't out of bed yet... I feel quite pleased as all my muscles ached yesterday out of indignation at having to do exercise, so I was half thinking of wussing out today!

On a wedding note, I was on the verge of being able to get both my BM's in the same place today to try on a potential dress, but the shop's shut! And one of them goes away soon for a month! Must not panic, must not panic...

Glad to see other's are joining in!

Cheers, then I'd love to join this challenge. I love the shred I think Gillian is amazing I've always loved her on The Biggest Loser she's really hardcore isn't she? It's actually quite tough even though it's only 20 mins isn't it. If you check out a website called shredheads could can see the difference it makes though: http://www.theshredheads.com/meet-your-shredheads

I'm hoping I can see the same amount of change :). It'll be fab to see the weekly results on the measurements thread plus having to post it will keep me motivated as I won't be able to cheat!
