  • Hi guys, I've been lurking this board for a while but my dvd arrived today so I thought I'd post :)

Just finished the first session of level one...ooh that was hard! Just about managed to finish it all. Feeling fine now too, full of energy. Not enough to do it again tho lol. Hoping to combine this with my gym treadmill and weight sessions :)

Had a sneaky look at level two, not looking forward to it!

    Aaarrghhh don;t say that, I'm starting level 2 tomorrow:eek:

Just did my last session of level 1 - not measured yet, but lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks so pretty pleased - just hope I can keep going...
  • That's a great loss, well done!

I did session two as soon as I got in from work, despite spending the day hobbling around it actually seemed a little easier today :)

Actual gym session tomorrow, so I don't know if I'll do shred too, not sure I can cope!

  • Everyone's doing so well! :)

I haven't posted for ages... I did 5 days at the start of a 50 min exercise dvd, and then went on holiday with lots of bad food and drink :( got home, and my shred dvd still hadn't arrived!

Anyhow, it arrived today, and I've just completed my first session - holy moly, it's hard!! And i'm just using canned soup as weights. If it's ok with everyone I might count today as my Day 1.

Current measurements are here, I daren't compare them to what I posted on the 1st as I feel mega bloated after days of badness:
My weight as of now is 10' 13.5"
    Leg 24.7" Arm 11.75" Waist 30.5" Tummy 35.75"

    Hi All,
Well I was so proud of myself yesterday-I went to the gym :D it is only a 7 day membership (freebie given to me by a friend, it's £65/month at this place ) but I'm going to use it at least 6 days hopefully. Then I went to see a friend last night and had a piece of cake. Even more depressing, then we got out old photos and found a pic of me about 4 years ago when I weighed about 2 stone less. It made me realise how much weight I'd put on. :(
I wasn't going to buy the shred DVD, I was going to use the wii, but you've all been raving about it so much, I think I'm going to give in!
I want to lose a stone by my wedding (30th April this year) and a stone by the honeymoon in October. I thought if I take my time, the weight should stay off-is that what the experts say?!

Wow, that's fantastic!!! In just 10 days :T

Just completed Day 2. I'm feeling inspired by all the stories of being able to see differences even after a week, so can't wait.
  • Well done everyone :T

I didn't do shred today as I went to the gym and ran/did weights then came home and did some fitness ball work. Shattered :rotfl:will do day three tomorrow tho!

  • Hi ladies!

Congratulations on your progress all of you!!

I've decided, having been lurking on this thread being inspired by you lot, to get myself a shred dvd too! Also motivated by putting my jeans on this morning (which had been loitering in the washing basket for a while) and finding that they actually fit me - you may think that this is a good thing, but I had needed to wear a belt with them previously because they were too loose, so it's definitely a bad sign. I have also noticed the dreaded double chin beginning to make a very unwelcome reappearance :o

Hopefully I'll get the dvd at the weekend, and will post my measurements as soon as I start.

    :)
