I tried level 2 again last night and it's still mega hard! I'm not sure if it's better for me than level 1 or not, at least I can do a full 20 minutes on level 1 without stopping, last night I cut pretty much every exercise a few seconds short because I thought I was dying! I saw it through to the end though and felt that her praise was well deserved! 'You're right Jillian, I did do an amazing job!' :rotfl:

2 more pounds off this morning so it seems to be working (along with cutting down on my food and the odd session in the gym :))
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I just came across this thread and checked out the dvd and it looks like it could be worth me giving it a try. Have placed an order for the dvd so will be starting once it arrives in the meantime I will keep doing the wii fit. Will definitely invest in a tape measure, really need to lose a bit from everywhere really but especially my thighs and tum.

I just did day 1 of my shred dvd which arrived this morning. I can barely lift my arms to type! They're shaking, I doubt I'll be able to move them tomorrow!

I think the cardio was a little easy for me but I'm gonna carry on doing an hour of Zumba 3 times a week aswell

I have to say, I find jillian really irritating, she makes you feel so guilty when you stop doesnt she?! haha
What matters most is how well you walk through the fire
  • Haha, Picklepick, we're wedding twins and shred twins too :D Although sounds as though you did lot better than me :o My dvd came today so I thought I'd get on and try it...dear oh dear...I was doing alright, albeit totally feeling it, up until the end of the cardio bit, when I suddenly came over all sickly, wobbly and feint...staggered to the loo and was sick :o Not so good. So I didn't even finish level 1, I was too scared! Not sure if it was 'cos I hadn't long been out of bed and hadn't eaten yet, or because I had a few big gulps of water while I was doing it, or maybe just one of those things? Will try again tomorrow - if I can move

It's encouraging to see how well everyone else is doing though :T
much work to be done - new sig coming soon...

Hi how is everyone? Day 10 for me. I went on to level 2 on day 8. Them plank jacks will be the death of me and I am doing the easy versions! Well I am now wearing a pair of pre pregnancy jeans that I couldn't even close together a couple of days after xmas!

OMG I agree, I'm on Day 2 of Level 2 and the Plank Jacks make me want to just give up:eek:! Will stick with it though - my new Nike leggings (Size S) came today and they fit!!!! Wore them to my spinning class and I didn't even have a muffin top:rotfl:

Going to weigh and measure Monday so will keep you posted x

Welcome newbies and good luck White Sapphire xxxx
  • Day three done! Are you supposed to do it on consecutive days? I guess the title suggests that, but I thought using weights wasn't supposed to be a daily thing? Or is that just proper weights, not little ones like in this?

Anyway, I'll do it daily while I can lol

    Hi Toothfairy4!

Ive just done day 4 of level 2 - level 2 is sooooo hard! Got my weigh in tomorrow, and hoping to have lost another couple of pounds. Been doing the shred each day before work (at 5.45am!), together with 2 spinning classes, and 3 gym sessions per week. I am absolutely exhausted today, and aching all over!

Hoping it will all be worth it!

    Hope everyone's keeping well xx
