Oh the push ups are murder, i do the girly version lol. My upper arm strength must be pretty awful i think :(
  • It's day 13 for me today. It's the first day so far that I really, really didn't want to do it. But plucked up a bit of motivation before lunch and just about got myself through it. Almost half way there! How's everyone else doing?
  • Day two, level two done. To be honest, I'm having to modify a lot of it! But I'm working constantly through it and end up shattered so I think doing this for a while is better than stepping back to level one. Dread to think what's in level three tho!

Weirdly, I find the plank jacks quite easy but the squat thrusts really hard :s

    Shred Question all.

I have been doing level 1 and have done it 7 times now. I don't find it easy at all but I am finding that I don't hurt the next day anymore - is this a sign I should move on to level 2? Not sure I like the thought of level 2!!

I think that if you're not counting down the seconds til the end of each exercise it's safe to move on! I did that after 6 days of level one (with gym sessions too) and level two kills me in ways level one couldn't dream of :rotfl:

I have to do day three tonight. I don't want to. Not in the mood, but my dress needs it!

Gym session today and day 2 of the shred. I found the pushups harder today, probably because my arm muscles are screaming. My whole body hurts. I managed to push through by thinking about the numbers on the scale this morning and my lovely dress which I am desperate to fit into when it comes into the shop.

I did sabotage myself by eating chocolate though. Probably cancelled out my whole workout. Pretty much my whole team have birthdays in January and February so there are loads of tins of chocolate and more to come and we've still got 2 tins of quality street leftover from Christmas. It's very difficult to avoid.

  • got some weights today so started back on level one. it nearly killed me! a lot harder than with tins of beans. got through it but my legs were like jelly. dp has started it as well.

H2B has ordered me some weights off ebay too because he's so impressed i've stuck it out so far. I think I will stick with my beans until I get through the 30 days, and then have a break, and restart back at L1 with the weights. Have until end of April to lose my leg & arm chub :)
  • MinniMe did you try level 2 in the end? Hope it went well if you did!
I'm half way through now, completed day 5 of level 2.
Is anyone thinking of celebrating/marking the end of their 30 day challenges in any way? I know the thought of my dress should be enough to keep me motivated, but I'm waning a bit :(
