They are on the whole nice people, the request for a reduction makes them "not decent" people.
They have invested here as well. Their whole life is in my driveway.
I would get rid of them asap and re-market which you can do because legally you still own it.
As for suing you the burden of proof would be on them and the no win no fee companies only take on cases they are certain they can win.0 -

They are *takers* Mr Jones. They made themselves your problem.
Where were they when Mrs C Senior fell? Why were they not helping their aged parent to settle into the home of complete strangers (which is what you and Mrs J are to Mrs C senior).
These actions are not those of nice people. They sound like convincing conmen now. How many times have you heard a victim say "but they were so nice".
I hope Mrs C senior is recovering, but please, send them packing tomorrow, if not before. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

ofcourse if her head injurys are extensive then she may not make a full recovery and hospital might be her last home. so the stair lift is not possible needed. if they want the stair lift ask for an assurance of her living for atleast 4 years. if they can not produce it then i doubt they will truly spend the money on it.1. i'm bi polar.:rotfl:2. carer for two autistic sons.:A 3. have a wonderful but challenging teenage daughter. 4. have a husband that is insatiable. 5. trying to do an open degree.0

The mother does not have a cut and tried case against you, she has a possible case. It is not a very clear cut case against you by any means0 -
Jones' - I still am unsure of the truth of this thread, but in believing you: Do no more for them, dont drop your price. Old Mrs Mother should have no bearing on their ability to exchange/complete, in fact surely they would want to secure a decent home for the invalid?
I think they have insufficient funds to proceed with the purchase and consequently are hanging out their time living on your land rent free and using your facilities and hospitality to the max!
I wouldnt be blackmailed by the dog/price reduction etc!!!
Change your locks and boot 'em on their way.0
