Done that....no difference....

if I click on driver details, it still says there is no driver.

Is that small text file all it is?

It says the same for me: "No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device".

I rollbacked from the Hanns-G to Windows' drivers & rebooted & this is what I get:



As you can see 1440x900 res is still supported, & 'Plug and Play Monitor' appears instead of HW191D under Display. G

I had a smilar problem with my Viewsonic, there were to sets of drivers signed and unsigned, only one would work.

You can try changing the monitor refresh rate to 60Hz (if possible*), to see if it makes a difference.

*For mine it has always been set to 60Hz - I doesn't give me any other options anyway!

And there's still the different g'card drivers & PowerStrip options to try.... G

refresh rate is set to 75Hz and that's the only option....what is it?

OK, I've now updated my NVIDIA driver...nice control panel...can change the refresh rate (whatever that is) between 60 - 70 - 75Hz.....nice resolution slider......no 1440x900

I got an email back from NVIDIA overnight. They told me how to set a custom resolution. When I tried to do that, I got an error message saying that I couldn't set that resolution. This is exhasperating!
