eBay seller gave refund then posted expensive item anyway

  • That would be forcing me to complete a sale we agreed to cancel - hence me feeling that it's a scam. The item is in pretty poor condition and not really worth the end price. So it would have been returned anyway if completed in a normal way. But, this isn't normal. She issue a refund, then two days later, sent the item to me.
  • I'd send the item back if you don't want to keep it.

Yes, because that is the honourable thing to do. Unless, of course, you are a thieving scum bag who needs to have his hands cut off?

I agree - it is the honourable thing to do. It is thieving if you don't so its just whether or not you are that type of person which I hope your not. There is unlikely to be a single person on here that will tell you to keep both the item and the money hun

    reference?
  • If you've got any sense of honour, you'll return it to the seller or pay. Instead of hoping to just get away with a freebie which its clear you're hoping to do....
