Try not to worry too much, it will not be anywhere as scary as you think:)

Hi all, im not yet in the jan 11 BR club but i am booked in for the 31st at 9.15

im nervous but looking forward to it at the same time as ive been putting it off for so long.

all my paperwork is done but ive got a couple of mistakes so i got a couple of fresh forms today and will be redoing them slowly and as neat as possible, only real mistakes are a couple of spelling errors and i left my dad off my creditors as he has basically helped me survive over the last few months so im putting him down for £500 but i get the feeling i owe him more.

    roll on 1 week :)

Good luck i hope it al goes ok for you, try not to worry it really is not as bad as you think. I know its natural to worry, i did.

Still not sunk in with me i am actually BR, other than the letter i recieved saying I was.

    Strange feeling......

i just got the letter through this morning confirming my appointment and it all seems a bit more real now, ive been quite calm upto now but its a bit more worrying now for some reason.

still at the same time i am really looking forward to getting it out the way and having a fresh start.

I didn't sleep last night for worrying about today. I was in the court buildings for a grand total of 20 minutes. As I arrived before my appointment time I was out 5 minutes after the official slot should have began.

This is a nice feeling to be having right now :)

Thank you - I am less worried about the telephone interview with the or, Im thinking its because its not face to face, that really bothered me today but I was glad when the judge decided he didnt need to see me.

congrats likabu, somthing ive been wondering (as it does say you do on my court paperwork) when your at the court do you speak to the OR or just one on one with the judge?

It was an admin assistant that checked the forms were filled in correctly. She then said that she thought the judge that was in today wouldnt want to see me as some do and some dont. She said if he did he would want to make sure I understood what I was doing and if I had sought advice.

She was back 5 minutes later and said he was happy to proceed without seeing me, I had already paid the fee and sworn an affidavit.
