    mini bump :)

also an update, i just checked and im now listed on the insovency register which makes it seem more real, i also got the confirmation letter this morning which is also an extra sign.

spent the day while my daughter was at school running from a-b closing the joint halifax account, once i mentioned im BR they stopped asking questions about closing the account, and to remove any risk of more problems ive manually transferred all my direct debits by phoning each one up that didnt have a branch in town, ive set up a standing order for the rent to stop me needing to draw the cash out each month also been to the council office to check my council tax and im back upto date and re setup the council tax direct debit for next tax year.

the only thing i havent sorted yet is telling work my change in account to make sure my wages & expenses are sent into the new account but im at the doctors again tomorrow to see if im going back and if im not (i dont think i will be) ill have to ring up the HR department from home and email them the change of circumstances form, luckily i have a copy on my usb card so dont have to go in just for that.

all in all its a nice feeling that i think i have everything in place ready for if/when any IPA may start... if i dont get an IPA i will tell my manager that i would like any possible payrise this year to be delayed until next year, if i do get an IPA ill still push for a big rise :)

its only been 8 days now but i havent heard from the OR, i just presumed i would get a date almost instantly for an interview and what they wanted off me.

best thing is yesterday morning my tumble dryer packed in and decided to stop rotating, im very lucky to have such supportive parents and my mum went out and treat us to a new condensor dryer but it made me wonder what happens to 90% of others who dont have a parent who has just got some inheratance through, i understand you get an emergency fund allowance but this was 7 days into it which means i had a full tenner of emergency funds lol.

if i got an IPA in this sort of situation would the OR let me have a month off or would i be reliant on freecycle or charity from others?
