Hi everyone, welcome to the January 2011
Bankruptcy Club.
This club is for everyone who has gone through the process of Bankruptcy during January 2011. So please feel free to join and post.
Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.
Remember this is your board so keep posting.
Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.
Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.
Please leave a post when you have been declared BR, and I will update the list.

Well I guess i will be joining this club as i intend to file in a couple of weeks time. Not looking forward to it but i guess i look upon 2011 as a fresh start on rebuilding my life.
Be glad to get tomorrow out the way as well.Never Give Up hope!0 -

Hi all,
Im officially going bankrupt in January 2011-im a full time student and this br will hopefully be a new start for myself and child.
Im panicking a bit but after months of thinking hard about it,ive decided that its the only way forward.
Hoping for the best.0 -

You will have to check your tenancy agreement about BR. Mine did not mention it but I informed them anyway, I then got a phone call about 4 weeks after going BR to say they had received a letter from the OR. I just thought it better that they knew anyway, some on here have said the OR never contacted their LL, so I think it is quite hit and miss really.:pB&SC No. 298
