  • I haven't ordered anything from this company. However, banner ads on their homepage isn't anything to be suspicious of - it's just extra (easy) revenue for them.

    Perhaps a call to companies house would confirm if their name is at least registered somewhere? It may be a case of "Company X trading as ZU Direct". Failing companies house, if they're a sole trader - perhaps the tax office? These company names must be registered somewhere.

    Yes it is my first post and no i'm nothing to do with zudirect.
    This is what they said on 14/11/06
    "We shall be in touch within the next 5-7 days with a definite date for the delivery of your item". I have had no contact since and my order still says processing. I am a little worried and annoyed also they never answered my question about the firmware from the new suppliers.
    I paid by bank transfer and was sent there bank details to pay into also they are still around sending mails/updates and they have offered me a full refund with every mail they have send. I think if they were con artists they would have taken our money and thats the last you would have heard from them.

    another 1 post wonder, ive ordered from this company i am worried about it. They only emailed me when i got intouch with nochex, they said it would be with me within 5-7 days if not sooner, if it takes any longer i will request a refund via credit card disputes.

    anyone had any updates?

    Are you not just confirming what i have said in my post.
    (your worried and have to wait 5-7 days) the same as me. Just because my post count is 1 don't think i'm some kind empty head who will be easily ripped off.
    Every mail i have sent they have answered and no i'm not sticking up for them i stand to loose just as much as you.
  • Theres no need to argue about motives and post numbers (I only have a few myself) the main thing here is that customers receive the goods they have paid for.

    If at least one person receives their item ordered from ZUdirect could they please post a contact number and full adress for zudirect which should be on the Invoice.

    I wouldn't reccomend using a Bank Transfer with this company as credit cards have more protection.
  • mike 1212 - be careful about contacting nochex about zudirect. i did, after waiting 8 weeks and hearing nothing but revise delivery dates. the next thing i know i get an email from zudirect cancelling my order. something about I accussed them of fraud.

    i did not accuse them of fraud, i asked nochex to give me a warm feeling about the company as the delays were unacceptable without any justification.

    they even had the nerve to end their email. and i quote...

    Its such a shame as it looked like delivery would have been
    forthcoming next week...


    i was quite miffed by this especially as their communications about the problems they've been having with suppliers has been poor / non existant. so what is a let down customer meant to do, when all we had was bland non specific apologies and rescheduled delivery dates (all of which proved to be untrue)

    i have responded to them maknig my case, but so far they have not replied to me. read it that what you will.

    i'll be looking in game this weekend at their refurb psp's £110 with 12 months warranty and you get it when you pay for it. maybe that little extra it worth the peace of mind.

    hi purpleronnine, i am sorry if it seemed like i was having ago just that their seemed to be a high chance you were the same as the poeple above who came on praised the company and thats the last we have seen of them.

    cheapaschips, i got in touch with my credit card who provided me with nochex details to get a definate date out of them as my credit card wants to go down the dispute route if they dont deliver. I hope they dont cancel my order just annoying as i am going away this tuesday and it was meant to keep us all entertained for the flight. ZUdirect if your reading mon would be a great day to deliver :D

  • No problem Mike, I know what you mean but no way am i singing zudirect's praises. They have cocked up big time.
    My payment cleared on 25/10/06 so i'v been waiting just over 3 weeks now.
