  • Hmmm, why might i be cynical? or rather why might i be a tad pee'd off?

1 - i enquired with them prior to ordering and they told me of course they're in stock, thats why we advertise them...

2 - they extended my delivery date 5 times at least. giving no justification other than their supplier was having 'difficulties'

3 - my two work colleagues who ordered before me are still waiting for their refunds

4 - they blamed nochex for cancelling my order when i personally think (and it's just my opinion) i upset them by questioning they integrity as a seller.
and as they said in their later email that the expense of transfering the orders would be footed by them, so the more people that cancel the better for them financially.

5 - as numerous people have pointed out, they have no contact details other than an email address at all on their website, you're at their mercy as has been seen so far.

i dont doubt that whoever perseveres with their order will get it, but they've done enough to really show me they leave a lot to be desired as a trading company...i gave them so many chances to be transparent and honest.

    that's all.
do let me know if i'm being unreasonable
    cheers cheap
  • Hi Cheap.
I don't think your being unreasonable at all.

Whether there is a genuine problem with supply or something more sinister is just pure speculation, with no real contact information and the already mentioned delays with delivery, this is enough to make me shop elsewhere.

£99.99 does seem a good price for a refurbished PSP but if very few people if any ever receive theirs it's not much of a bargain. My minds made up on this and I will look elsewhere and may even go for a brand new one for £149.99 with a free game.

As far as the firmware version or type of motherboard installed goes- I will just have to take a chance, I can always buy second hand games on e-bay to build up my collection and the hassle and potential recrimminations of downloading and playing homebrew games doesn't seem that attractive to me.

The last thing I want is that unhappy look on my sons face Christmas morning when he doesn't get the PSP he wanted and the extra £50 for a new one that actually gets delivered in time is money well spent Imho.

I'm glad I found this thread whilst looking for a PSP deal and doing a quick google search on zudirect.

    Hi all

I'm new to this fourm but have been using the moneysaving website for some time. I'm with Hotchocolate in saying I'm glad I found this fourm with people haveing trouble with zudirect, as I now feel I'm not alone, only like most people on this website it's like hearing a traffic report on the radio that your already in. My troubles with zudirect have taken there final straw. I ordered my psp for my son's birthday which is this monday coming. I got the same emails as every body else weeks back and was told I could get a refund no questions asked. I have tried to email for a refund 3 times now and only get automated reply each time saying that I will be contacted in 48hr which has never happened. Now I'm going to have to explain to my son why he doesn't have the psp his been after for his birthday(no fun telling a 7 year old).

    Thanks a bunch zudirect
  • i've just got home from town... and i'm a happy bunny - zudirect is a fading memory.
i've been to game, got a refurb base pack for £109.
i asked to see a few and the one i've got is pristine. all accessories and booklets still in their bags sealed. as was the power pack. and UMD sampler.
they also let you have up to two chart games for £15 each. i got star wars lego II and tiger woods golf 2007 they should have been £65, i paid £30.
a bit more than i wanted to pay but i have it, something i can't say about my previous order.

    Hope this helps someone.

    cheers

I had the same email as mike1212. A little to late in my case. This company has no conceren for it's customers, they should of given the option for a refund as soon as they knew the orders would not be dispatched by the time stated on their website (not just print that they would with now intention of giveing anyone back their money).
They also may have held some credibility if they actully contacted customers and giving them updates instead of everyone having to contact them.(bad business)
But then again that would mean they would have to give everyone back their own hard earned cash, God forbid.
