I put in a claim for my Viva is it? anyway, when they have changed the value up to £25 I thought it would take me another year to get there! So I put the claim in for what I had. So £9.80 will be coming to me. There was around £12 in my totals box.
That will be about two weeks I think it said before it pays into my paypal account.
Had a refund into my paypal account for some materials that I ordered and they were out of stock. So I will be in credit there unusually.
I will probably get back to the surveys after the sewing is caught up with.

Glad somethings happening about the house Mary-op. Thats reminded me, I have a pattern from simplicity for some bags for the backs etc of wheelchairs, must have a good look at it now its arrived and see if I can get making some of them. They may be a way to increase my income a bit.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

mary - you be careful you dont over do it

rufus - hows YD doing? Have a good time at the Dads...

Angela - elysia who comes on here runs the moneymaking, the idea is you can spend it on what you want when you want. She just gives you ideas on what to do to earn those extra pennies....It can really mount up but like everything else, its the amount of time you put into it. I did it first year full steam ahead and achieved a money neutral christmas. This year I`m still doing it and having some great results but not as much as I enjoy crafting more and have less things to buy.

mooloo - well done on viva, i saw they were putting it upto £25...

mrs moneypenny - theres some lovely hm gitfs there, how thoughtful

    mum2one - glad you have a full diary :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've made this owl doorstop this afternoon, and not a moment too soon if the predictions of high winds are correct. As you can probably tell, I've only got red and green felt......

Don't know what people will think of being given a doorstop for a Christmas pressie - guess I'll find out in about three months!!

OOPS!! Not sure this I've posted this in the right place? Please move if it should be elsewhere. Thanks.

    Hello all :j

susan - I only go out once a week and am determined to have a go at doing what I can.......it wears me out but after a couple of days I'm back to ''almost'' normal -forgotten what normal is;)

soba - love the doorstop............I have a friend who loves owls............have you got instructions for it ? I wouldn't mind having a go at one.

Seem to have spent all day doing not a lot. Made a fabric xmas pudding to go with sons ''christmas in a box''..........first one was c**p -material frayed as soon as I looked at it so ended up doing one with felt and found a textured cream fabric for the cream on top.........red button and couple of leaves and ribbon and it's not bad...........then I did another little xmas stocking...............not sure what else I can put with that lot.......done hearts, trees, stockins, xmas pudding and I've made a 'soft tree'...........oh......mittens.........could do couple of those maybe.
OH been down town again round the market.......needed a taxi to get there and back but at least he;s doing what he used to do..........neither of us want to be beaten by our health if we can help it.

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    I love the owl!

It's been house-move-mayhem here today, I did massive amounts of stuff but the only Christmassy thing was to rescue some wrapping paper from my monstrous toddler.

Still nowhere near packed - we still have a month to go so I am not too worried. Sort of.

it could only happe to me...

Hospital app fri re knee, good news too young for a knee repacement (at 40, makes a change to be too young for sumthing!!), but the op they can would damage my knee, so thats no go. Apparently have 20% use in leg, got to try + keep that one of the suggestions sit in chair, swing my leg!!

The consultant was lush, it was a wonder I wasn't drooling!!

The "highlight" my Uncle took me incase they twisted my knee couldn't drive, gets back to the car, and the batterys flat, 2 hrs we were waiting for the bloke, he was so nice, one new battery,£99 lighter for Uncles wallet!!

Be escaping later, having trip to Prague, only have half toilettry bag packes, get sorted 2mor won't take too long!! Nice as half bday prezzie, feels more speical.

Seen a couple of trips I like, and there prebook, pay when they pick you up, so thats the plan 2mor am, ones a coach trip, followed by 3 hr river cruise and meal, I can't get far on foot, but if I can do some be pleased.

Can't believe how close xmas is coming, got Miss Hoodies bday end of month, shes still not decided what she wants, then its xmas. feel done nothing in the last few months, but think 1/3 to 3/4 way there, so when come back, and bedroom gets done, the xmas checklist next.

Then xmas cakes, and look for mincemeat, so exicted about that, but it mean be up to my ears in OU work, but be worth it!

Enjoy your trip mum2one, remember that in Prague you can often get the good painkillers OTC ;)
