SugarSpun - made me lol :rotfl: about your advice re: painkillers!! lol
LOVE your 12 days of Christmas idea!! Could it be more of a felt, 3D, pyramid shaped wall hanging?? Does that even make sense? lol
I think I was envisioning a box with lots of soft figures in it, iyswim, but I'm unsure how to do it.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hello all :j
OH having better day than yesterday thank goodness.
Cleaner and me sorted bits out in the bathroom, all the nicks nacks and stuff (why do I have do many ??) so that when council chap comes to start on Monday he won't have so much to clear out.
Kitchen designer person coming tomorrow to measure up kitchen and work out what will go where, and more importantly how much !!!
Done not much today............no knitting or sewing.
Climbing rose round the kitchen window was hanging off its trellis with the winds yesterday so gardening chap hacked it down a bit..........now looks like trellis wants screwing back on to the wall.
Builder replaced slate we knew we'd lost yesterday morning and he found 4 others that must have come off some time yesterday ! Oh I do hate wind like that.........scary !!
Hope you're all ok..........must get myself into gear tomorrow when kitchen persons been and actually 'do' something.:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello all :j
Angela - thanks for the link........that'll get me lost for hours.............lol
Willow........there's a thread on here for 'gifts in a jar' -if you type that in the search box at the top it'll come up.............sorry, don't know how to put it on.
I did these last year and they went down well.........didn't cost much to do either.
I've had a day of doing nothing in particular......gardener chap came up and sorted out the veg that had gone over and mint that outgrew its space -now I've got room for some more plants which means opening the purse !!
Kitchen lady came, measured up and gone off now to draw it all up and send us pictures and quote.............its the quote bit thats the scary bit !! Still, never ever had a new kitchen, always seemed to 'make do' so maybe its time to do it properly.
Hope you're all ok............you're all very busy -and I'm notEnthusiasm isn't there today.............oh well, maybe tomorrow:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi,
New here but have been browsing. Am currently slap bang in the middle of making all my christmas presents - mostly crochet decorations and some knitted things. My main question is - any website recommendations for cheap craft supplies? Ribbons, decorative buttons etc? I've got all the wool I need (hopefully!) but could do with a good one-stop-shop for all the additional bits and bobs.
Thank you very much in advance0
