Mine was black, white and red. Like my wallpaper *cringes*

I got really excited, just opened Halfcost and their Christmas tab is up - but virtually empty so far, hmph. I got all excited :( Still, apparently our local Lidls have chocolate coins, need several bags of those and my shopping is finished except for the fresh food bits.

    Hello all:j

elysia - thanks for throwing me into state of panic:eek: Only 100 days !!!!!!:eek::eek:

Never did have one of those patchwork jumpers.....to be honest there was me thinking I'd come up with an 'original' idea.............lol:rotfl:

Not done a lot today except plod through second wrist warmer. Builder been here all day so there's been knocks on the door every little while and I used the wrong colour for one stripe and had to unpick it :( Maybe tomorrow I'll get it totally done, sewed up, the lot and start on christmas in a box stuff for other son and his family.
Builder coming back Monday -same day as bathroom chap comes to sort out that -not much chance of any peace and quiet still, least its getting done. Just waiting for price on the kitchen now so I can say either 'yes' or 'how much ?????'

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • cant remember who was after them but shopping in wilkinsons this morning i saw packs of the cellophane packs like cards come in they were resealable there was a choice of two different sized packs, you get 25 for £1.10 i thought they might be ok for card makers or for putting reindeer food in. they are near the card making and craft stuff. also saw hot glue guns for £5ish and packs of glue sticks for just over £1.

not sure if that will help anyone

got to plant the prepared hyacinchs this afty - that will be the 3 grandmothers sorted from youngest DD, also working on needlecase for friends 50th birthday.

    Will this help, Willow? :)

I am feeling a bit cross, I was all excited about my Christmas shopping but ran across a wife of a friend who was all snooty with me, Oh *I* never give adults gifts, and I make things for all the children. I just don't see the point of giving yet another smelly set.

Cheeky mare, I went into a big explanation of love languages and how for some people this is the way they connect with others and then explained money neutrality and so on. But I am annoyed, this is the same woman who told me I didn't experience birth properly because the beastling was born by C-section. I suppose the thirteen hours of labour were all in my head then? Gah, some people.

Hope you're all having a lovely day :)

take no notice of her sugarspun - i used to get the same rubbish from friends of mine....christmas is what you want to make of it. If she doesnt want to give presents fine....but shes also the one that complains she never gets anything i expect.

Arrrrg some people make me so angry....and as for giving birth....yes we can all give birth the hard way...i could have (i had a c) but then i`d only have one child, has it made her a better mother then? no didnt think so....

    sorry rant over.

99 days to christmas not that i`m counting mind. Double figures ....yeahhhhh:j:j:j:j
