I just got finished listening, what a brilliant idea. It sometimes gets a bit too much to read lots of text about stuff, so to just hear it was a refreshing & welcome change and allowed me to understand it better0

V good for a first go.
But you should deffo stream it ! think of all those poor 56kers
Streamings easy anyway and takes approx 5 mins to setup :
Here how......
Get Real player producer 10 (the free edition of course)
convert your monologue to a .rm or .ra real player type
Once done create a .ram file by....
open notepad
type the EXACT url of the .rm ,.ra you've just created and save it as whatever.ram
then put the link on your website to the .RAM file NOT the .Ra,.rm and hey presto you've got streaming site in 5 mins flat. eg
<a href="http://(yourdomain.com)/(textfile.ram)">Listen to Audio</a>
hope that helps

I like the fact that I could download the clip and play it. When I'm in the office, our proxy prevents streaming audio but I can download files OK. So probably a mixture of both streaming and also offering a downloadable file would be best for me.
Content was good and gave some clearer insight into the importance of the articles in the tip.
Very happy with the site Martin

Still can't download even with broadband. Tried 3 times. Like the idea - will try again.0

5.2Mb was a bit hefty even for my broadband line. But, nice one, and worth the wait. It's like hearing God speaking for a MSE-wannabe
I can see these turning into "Martin talks you through..." guides. You know, a bit like those Paul McKenna self-help/quit smoking CDs you see in newsagents at train stations (no, I don't buy them - honest).
They won't be as soothing - but you will get the message...

Hi Wiz
I couldn't get it to play in Windows Media at all, or Real Player until I downloaded the latest version. (512b/b)
