I think I'll pass on this for now as appear to have found a car via carhire3000.com.

I can confirm what one of the previous posters said about a Gary Smith being in charge and promising to call me back by 5.30pm today. The fact that only one guy can give an update or offer a refund does not fill me with a great deal of hope. I spoke with First Direct about 3 hours ago and told them to put this on their system so perhaps I have saved someone some money and grief....A car was the only way I could see my kids at their mum's on xmas day and head over to see my sick dad in hospital on the same day. I have a stinking cold and a bad back as well....Grrr0

It's not a scam - it's just a poorly run, cowboy operation of a company. There is a difference.
Whos side are you on? First you call everyone trolls and are now saying it isnt a scam.
It looks like a scam and feels like one to those who have transferred and possibly lost large amounts0 -

I'm on the side of the truth, me.
Tell me, is there any evidence to support anyone's claim that it's a scam?0 -
CCE in car terms!
People book cars, dont receive them, post here = scam.. plain and simple...
and those that scam people, do so for many months before anyone with brains in the authority departments seek closure......
Hopefully those waiting for cars today will post more info on whats happened today so others can be kept in the loop...0 -
for every 10 decent people, theres always 1 c0ck.... and jammin wins hands down at being that 1 in 10

It might brighten the thread a little thinking about it!
and if by chance people get there money back, Jammin is a still a c0ck
