Just need to finish 1 work surface and do the floor in the kitchen. LR needs a quick tidy and hoover but DH can do that when he comes back from walking Jerry. Then just need to do the cooking and prep which shouldn't take too long. Suppose I'd better get dressed at some point too!

  • Hello lovely ladies!

I am a very poorly flylady - I picked up food posioning a few weeks ago but as I wasnt being sick didnt think it was that so eventually toddled off to the drs who put me on antibiotics. Finished that course and then came down with the lurgy, nasty virus and I look like something from a horror movie. Tum started playing up again so back to the dr for a second lot of antibiotics. I feel very rough but we are at the inlaws tomorrow and they wont mind if I just curl up and sleep if I need to.

We are also going away for a few days (got someone to cat sit and check the house) and are taking the dogs so fingers crossed I'll be feeling better soon.

Hubby has been a star helping me out so although Pigpen's list hasnt been followed to the letter - things are just about done!

    take care

    1 step
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
  • Well - everything is wrapped - thats a first! And most of the hovel has been hoovered! I don't know where OH has put most stuff but hey I can live with it for a few days.

Did a brief trip to York this morning - very pleasant - most shops almost empty (M&S excepted of course!)

Washing just about up to date - thats also a miracle! (Sadly not the ironing but it's out of sight and I have a week to crack that challenge!)

Good health vibes to all the poorlies.

Sexymouse - don't try and plan too much - things happen for a reason! I have 3 wonderful children ... but none were planned and the third was a real shock. Not much money, mind, but in the grand scheme of things I'm doing OK!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

How has everyone else done with the challenge?

I finished late, about an hour ago but I was organised. I managed most of the list before 11 when we decided to go and see OHs dad before there was too much traffic and the weather got colder. Did some cake decorating when we got back (mini victoria sandwich cakes that I am taking to my mum's as a surprise), we shared the ironing and have packed our stuff to go away. I don't care that I finished late, I have had an organised, chilled, enjoyable day. Thanks Natty68 for the idea, without it I wouldn't have been so organised.

Off to my mum's tomorrow until Tuesday then going to Austria for a week.

We are having our Christmas dinner today although it is just a roast chicken dinner. Leftovers will be for lunch as a nice salad so we don't have to have any hassle. In case I don't come back on have a great Christmas and New Year, stay safe and I will be back on the 4th.

DH on his way home so delaying dinner until he arrives.

Just ironing the table linen for tomorrow and then I have the kitchen floor to hoover and mop and think I'm almost done then apart from a few bits DH needs to help with.

In case some of you don't pop back in Have a wonderful time tomorrow and try to relax after all it should be a day off!

Don't forget to put something fizzing in the fridge to be cold for lunch
