Cake delivered to friend I am having xmas lunch with - times arranged for tomorrow. Got down to MrT for milk and last present (tubes of polomints - for horse) and home to thaw out.
Worst bit was trying to get across roads thanks to snow ploughs which have left banks of snow along edge of pavements - how anyone was supposed to get to the bus at one stop:mad:.

Sexymouse - hugs and love, can't add anything to the wonderful wise words already said but I hope you have a lovely Xmas - forget about it till afterwards - men need timeto digest and retain what you have said and then come up with an answer, he may of been surprised about the conversation and ran cos he didn't know what to say x

Hex - gentle hugs for you

Natty68 - if it wasn't for your challenge I wouldn't be as calm as I am, thank you hun, I haven't made it for 12pm but I am ahead of where I was this time last year

    Helen x

PS Thank you to everyone for the lovely messages, you are all so kind

A big THANKS to everyone for all their wonderful words of wisdom and comfort. I'm so grateful I have you all as friends. Didn't go to the pub in the end as got my coat on and checked my phone and saw a text from my friend to say she wasn't going to be able to make it. I used the opportunity to get to Mr T before they ran out of milk instead, and luckily I was in and out quicker than I normally would be on a Saturday as every checkout had an operator and quite a few people were like me and only had a few bits on the conveyor belts. :)

I'm off to put a load of washing on and change the sheets, as I like to go to bed on Christmas Eve with clean sheets on the bed - a bit of pillow punching and a bath later should help with the need to explode.

Hugs to everyone who is feeling low or poorly.

Bad news here as think I may be coming down with DH's lurgy - feel shivery, a bit achey, light headed and really rough. Went to go to bed after our walk but that didn't work out (DD came in, DH came in and when I said someone needs to be with DS I was told he 'felt bad and just wanted to relax and read his book':mad:. So now I'm up again. Just had 2 paracetamol and hope that kicks in soon.

Apart from that OK and I've now done all I'm going to do and fall asleep on the sofa!

Hope you're all OK and Sexymouse, try not to get too stressed. It'll all be fine xx

He has been very, very good today!

ETA Sexymouse - it may be worth talking to Rach, if you remember she had similar issues with her DH and it has all worked out well.

I like that, too and all done :A

Is it the baby debate, sexy? If so I have a book you should read. Let me know and I'll send it.

The ladies are right, though, shelve it until after Christmas. xxx
