Kitchen tops, windows, cupboard door and oven scrubbed well. Just having a cuppa before I tackle the table (where everything superfluous has been dumped!) and the floor

Back home again, presents delivered. Car was really skidding on some roads which DS1 was finding worryingly cool and funny. Said child is now doing his turn of clearing the ice around the edge of the driveway ;):D

Arghhh - can't find the mop anywhere, so kitchen floor needs to be a hands & knees job. All gussied up for church, so it'll have to wait until I get home - but the end is in sight.

    Moam

It'll be with my labels, penpen middle pastry cutter and baking tray and ..... it's like that game grandma went shopping and she bought :rotfl:

Time for a cuppa and then

DS1 is to make the yule log
DS2 to wrap pigs in blankets
    DS3 to make stuffing
    Me to peel pots

    Go team Dusty

OH and DD came back and walked through my clean floor.....wiped it up......Mum popped in, and walked all over the floor!!!! Cleaned it up, Mum has now taken DD for an hour, so I am going to continue wrapping.........................
  • penpen is it Church today 'cos you're Roman Catholic?

LOL far from it; we're atheist, but wanted the children to have the church experience so they could make up their own minds. We started taking them to the candlelit service on Christmas Eve from when DD was 1 and DS 10 months. They now love going, so we continue :)

I'm off to put a load of washing on and change the sheets, as I like to go to bed on Christmas Eve with clean sheets on the bed

Me too :D It's been on my list for today all week, so DH will do that later.

Now that I've finished DD's quilt i can start crocheting a blanket for our bed, with a clear conscience! Need to plan the scheme from the wool that I bought.

Had a really enjoyable family walk from the back door across frozen snowy fields. I'm JC on here while the children watch Ugly Betty. No idea where DH has got to .......

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
