Happy Birthday PIGGERS!!!!!



An interesting Christmas so far...

The Bloke came to drop off DD's presents, realised just how much pain I was in and proceeded to come in and look after everything all weekend, including cooking Christmas dinner, cleaning everything, wrapping presents that were discovered hiding under the stairs at midnight, etc, etc.

FW threw a strop Christmas morning and informed DD that as she didn't phone him back when he called at 9.30am (she was asleep) but at 10.05 when she woke up, he couldn't be bothered with her anymore. Words actually failed me, not a common occurrence, but I still can't find the words to explain it.

Loads of tears. And the Bloke went upstairs to calm her down and let her take it out on a man, rather than me. Strangely, he took her phone into the loo with him afterwards.

Ten minutes later, FW called DD to ask if he could come round after all. And was here within 15 minutes, rather than the usual hour and a half. But without presents.

Put up with him politely for 90 minutes, but DD was happy, especially as she managed to get in an 'I LOVE YOU!' to The Bloke because he had got her a pair of boots she has coveted for the last nine months, right in front of FW, who didn't get anything of the sort from her. As FW got up to go, there was some form of silent communication between him - six foot five - and The Bloke - five foot six on tiptoe. The Bloke seemed taller than usual for the rest of the day.



She's off with FW until Tuesday now as he picked her up this afternoon. Hopefully he has got her the phone he promised, especially as he can now see her phone is rubbish.


And nobody can see me and The Bloke doing the Monster Mash on Lets Dance 2 (me just doing the hand motions as my back won't take it).

Awww, Jo-Jo, that seems like it was a good Christmas! Well done blokey - and, I have to say it, well done FW for clearly taking what blokey said seriously.

You just take care of yourself. No bedroom gymnastics until your back has healed :cool:

Hmmm I've just sat here most of the afternoon writing. I have fed the animals just now and put the chooks away for the night. I really ought to get something "proper" to eat, although I have just picked all day.

Maybe a fritatta type thing (or spanish omlette) with the left over veg from yesterday is what's needed. With three eggs today, I need to use some up! I did phone NN and told her not to buy any more from the supermarket and as soon as she's run out of her current stock to let me know ...

That wonderful film Love Actually is on in an hour. Guess who's going to have ANOTHER late night sitting up watching it....... and sobbing into some tissues at the appropriate moment...

valli & julie - one DD got just dance the other was given just dance 2 (think my bro was taking the p@@@) havent yet had a chance to play either but the girls have and ther was much laughter so i think that might be tomorrows job.

Off to watch one of my pressies Sex in the City 2 - not sure how FIL will take it but [EMAIL="bu@@er"]bu**er[/EMAIL] it is my time for telly in the last 48 hours i have had nothing.

Will see you all tomorrow on the thread that pigpen is to forget about ( I am sure toots or soappie will start if she is otherwise engaged but ican always hope for a day off!!!)
