    Morning all

Hope y'all had a good day yesterday. I did. Dinner was lovely. DS and I walked up my friend's at the end of the road about 6pm to drop off presents and didn't get back again until 11pm!DiL is not happy with DS! But never mind.

Certainly deep and crisp this morning - with frost. I've just let the chickens out and it's freezing out there! But the sun is shining so it should wam up soon

...got a lovely pressie from hubby, not as bad as it sounds...two knives...:rotfl:...but I had requested one, a Santoku...and he got me two from Global, so I've spent my days slicing and chopping and cutting whatever I can get my hands on.:D

    Happy Birthday Pigpen :D

Very cold here... (but also lovely and sunny!) not sure how cold but when I was driving home last night the lowest it got was -9.5 and foggy  and the temperature outside the house was -7. It was certainly very cold when I woke up. Need to get on and dressed etc as I have to get back to my DBs for 11 :o to go for a walk (and hopefully get a key to the flat cut - I've worked out which places might be open).

Anyway I've broken with tradition and not had a drink which has made the day really pleasant, plus I know I won't have a hangover tomorrow.:j
I'm glad I was driving home, as it gave me an excuse not to drink much (not that we did drink that much anyway) and I feel much better as a result. I haven't really been drinking much since we got back from Edinburgh, and it has made me realise that I should probably be cutting back. It's a good way of saving money too (to pay the heating bill with probably...)

DW emptied, washing up done, about to eat breakfast and then need to gather up a few bits and head off.

Hope you all have a lovely restful boxing day.
  • Right then time I got showered and sorted some food out to take over the mums for the day and got up from watching Kiss me Kate!

Have a lovely Boxing Day everyone

    Morning all

    Happy Birthday Piggers

Sun is out here but it is still freezing. Our road gets worse by the day and is now just a complete skating rink, not going out today though so won't affect us.

DH is starting decorating our bedroom today so after a shower we need to start packing the stuff up that is in there.

Kitchen is tidy, can't say the same for the LR but the kids can help with that right now I think!

    Enjoy your day laddies
