Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.
  • Happy Christmas one and all - we've had a quiet day so far as Ds still feeling a bit off, but father Christmas seems to have delivered the correct items :rotfl: and our present of a grownup CD player is apparently fab! :j Means DH & I have listened to the Usborne " Christmas Carol" twice so far and now on "The Twits" by Roald Dahl. :D

Our guests arrive soon, dinner is cooking, everything prepped and I'm chilling with a glass of the red stuff. Its been a fabulous day so far and will only get better.

I hope everyone has a great day, much love to all

NB - Happy Birthday to Lady Libs son.
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

As lamewolf said it is a lovely way to remember people by using the things they used to have.

Toys boxed and most are away upstairs.
DS3's favourite pressie is his wind up radio with integral torch... DS2's fave is his jar of jelly snakes... easy pleased my boys.

DD2 loves her panda hat, DD1 her christmas socks, DD3 her zhuzhu hamsters (she has 3) DD4 loves her giggly cat and DD5 seems to like her tube of pink smarties!

They are away to FW's today.. apparently I am to 'feed them this time'.. erm.. is the point not that he feeds them? Or is it that he takes them, puts them to bed, makes them wait until 11am for their 5 presents and bring them back again? for 1pm.. Twerp.. DD3 doesn't want to go.. I thought it might be a couple more years before I heard that one!

Off to sort DS2's Warcraft subscription.. on his new pc.. Please God let it connect to t'interweb!

Just popping in quickly, hoping that you are all having a lovely time today!

I was the only one up in time to go to church - at 10.30! OH and I were thinking about how little slepp we had when the children were little - they still aren't good at going to sleep early - but at least they sleep in in the morning!

A toast from me as well this afternoon, to all of us that are thinkng about those who are no longer here with us.

Love, hugs, especially to lady-liberty, toots and lamewolf.

    Evening everyone.

Ive had a lovely day with the family. Santa has been really good to me. I did get upset just before lunch and GS2 sat and held my hand. Then DD came and hugged me. We all ate far too much but it was lovely. We went to DDs ex MILs for tea and my GGDs were there. The youngest has just started walking so was into everything.

Im in my jamas now and just going to relax this evening.
  • <<hugs>> Boddy You've been in my thoughts dearie. xx
