First leftovers lunch consumed - love lunches like that.
Off to make a cuppa now, put out the recycling, fill the new bird feeders and give the kitchen another tidy.
Planning on sitting down for most of the afternoon but do need to ice the cake for tomorrow and make another cake or crumble for tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Me too. An important part of boxing day - read new books, eat the best of the chocolate and save a tiny corner for cold turkey
DS1 and I have eaten far too much HM coconut ice and fudge. I must make him eat some cheese to offset it in a bit.
Vaguely looking for a new laptop in the sales as mine seems quite ill, but that is about it for effort on my part. WM/TD/DW all on.

Happy Birthday Pigpen!!!! Hope you're having a lovely day.
All quiet here, just bimbling about and may possibly go and have a bath shortly.... might take a glass of fizz in with me for a treat. A kind friend dropped in last night and left us a bottle.
I am utterly delighted! My DH surprised me with a Kindle for Christmas (we had agreed not to do expensive prezzies, so hadn't even dreamed of this one.) The "reasoning" behind it was that I wouldn't have to take a whole hand-luggage full of books with me the next time we're on holiday.... hmmm, that's not me is it???Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0
