    Good morning all!
Well it's a balmy -4 here, so quite warm..... where's my bikini!
Bit of a shame here, my sis and family are not going to be able to come. My DH has developed a cold, and my neice, if she catches one, tends to land up in hospital with it, along with my sis who goes along with her, so we're not risking it. Luckily we both have contingency plans. Dad is still coming (so far) though he has a habit of calling social occasions off at the last minute, so we'll see.
helenjelly Fab news about your dad! Really happy for you.
Off to sort my list out..... x

    • Before children go to bed they must stack their new things nicely!
    • A quick S&S over the kitchen should see it looking fabulous again If you leave it by New year it will be a tip!!
    • Prepare any run and grab style food for Boxing day.. I know a lot of families have get togethers on the 26th.
    • Wipe the table/table cloth

How about "Blokey" or something neutral like that?;) Sorely tempted to come over to yours to sample the choccies, but I have to think of my diet.:D

Toots great to hear from you - I do indeed have a four-legged guest, Max the Greyhound, who is the most laid-back dog I have ever come across! He's an ex-racer, and I think he was dreaming about being back on the racetrack earlier, from the way his legs were twitching.:D Have a lovely day tomorrow; even if the plans have gone somewhat awry, enjoy your day.:o

Juliejim well done on finding the keys - you didn't find Mr LW's watch as well by any chance did you? It's been missing for a couple of months, and he thinks it fell off his wrist while he was on the F&V run in Stony Stratford. Amazing the different things people have said have gone missing, too.... I mean, PenPen, how can you lose a baking sheet??:D

Helen hopefully you and your Dad and the rest of the family can relax a little, and enjoy your Xmas.

Just general tidying and S&S-ing to do here - so I'm bored today.:D I have the yogurt maker on the go, and some pizza dough in the BM; pizza for tonight's dins, as we haven't had that for a while.

When the dog-sitting coordinator brought Max yesterday, she also brought a box of chocolates, from Sidney the Schnauzer.:D Apparently his owners really like the way we look after him, and were so grateful that I could have him for an extra day. Bless!:D

Can I take the opportunity to add my thanks to all who make this thread possible - Piggers, Toots, Soappie, Asbo-toots and all my fellow Flyladies.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • All small persons' presents wrapped. Fire lit, just gave myself a 2 in splinter briwaxing something. Ironing next and then tidying.

Hoping the black dog is away to lapland! Happy Christmas.xxx

Fridge done, 3rd washer load on (underestimated) dishwasher on second load, oven tray doesn't fit grrr, kitchen floor cleared, washing machine deep cleaned, drier on 3rd load, one kitchen bench cleared, hob cleaned, cooker doors cleaned, slow cooker cleaned, downstairs loo cleaned, bathroom sprayed, 2 bin bags of gibble thrown

Now DP has gone to his Dad's to start their cars but he has been gone an hour, if he doesn't hurry up I won't have time to go to the shops before he goes to work!!

Smashed thorntons parcel arrived to which they said 'oh you can keep it or it'll cost you a lot to return to us' gee thanks! Might see if some is meltable for cooking but it's been frozen/defrosted a couple of times as the ones I have inspected are grey so unsure if it's safe
