Piggers, did you get your car, what's it like?

Lamewolf, Yule Tide greetings to you and yours, blessed be. x

Suggestion, maybe to help your hubby's grieving process he can make a memory box of photo's, jotted down memories, her favourite song, flower etc for his sister. Keeps her very much with him if you know what I mean. xx

Cream crackered from work, will attempt to take friday off as leave I think, I'd like to do some christmassy fun things rather than christmassy 'organising the whole blooming lot' things.

Bins are out, we can hope!

Freezer successfully defrosted and restocked, haven't had time to make an inventory as got in late from work so just repacked it all in. Great idea I think of Valli's to defrost the freezer whilst its so cold outside, even the mini magnums didn't even slightly defrost.

Presents are kind of found but I'm too tired to wrap tonight so will attempt to get them done tomorrow morning.

  • LW, if you're still online, just thought I'd ask whether you intend watching the eclipse in the morning? Around 6.30, apparently, then you've got sunrise and then both sun & full moon in the sky. I shall do my best to haul myself up to the window to watch, anyway.

Trying to get DD away from the TV without going completely radio rental and hurling the remote control through the screen, as that will mean she goes into meltdown and will do nothing, much less go and get under the shower :mad

Then a relatively early night, I hope!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    - DD - tidy your rooms
    - Have a skim through the TV guide

Jobs for later in the week
    - Change any bedding you need to get washed (doing this thursday so it's all nice for Christmas eve)

Valli - re ironing - you is mad! Hope you're feeling better soon.
Lil_me my twin - you've proved me to be a liar. I've used my iron for hama beads too!:D:rotfl:xx

Back from Beavers/Cubs which was a complete fiasco as all the plans had been changed on Friday by the Scout leader and so me and my kids ended up at MacDs at 9pm as we'd had no tea!

Really not looking forward to tomorrow as DS has already been crying today because he doesn't want to go and keeps coming up to me and saying he doesn't want to go so lots of painfree and coping vibes for tomorrow please.

Technically Boxing Day is Monday this year as 26th is Sunday.

And if anyone else starts the thread I will be most offended!
