Morning all. I slipped down the stairs last night and bashed my right hand on the bannisters. Pain is terrible, can't sleep. Very swollen. Need to go to A&E for an Xray.
Feeling very sorry for myself:(.
Happy day wished to Mr & Mrs Lamewolf.0 -
Ouch Mumto5 - hope it gets fixed quickly.
Lil-me - rather than order more pressies, can't you give the lads a "Santa IOU" and say that he'll deliver them as a surprise on another day?
Just waiting to hear if we have another snow day or not before I move from this cup of tea. Update should happen about 7am
ETA: OK, we're open, better go bathe and do a proper first day...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Trying to get DD away from the TV without going completely radio rental and hurling the remote control through the screen, as that will mean she goes into meltdown and will do nothing, much less go and get under the shower :mad
Then a relatively early night, I hope!
Eclipse is underway - it happens at 7.40 - it's the first eclipse to coincide with the solstice for 400 years - a once in a lifetime event!!!
Standing in the garden in the frost in the dark is eerie - i thought it was a bit foggyu - but no, it's just the output from everyones central heating!
Back is easing, shopping is getting done. Now all I need are some parcels to arrive.
Am off to get the ironing started!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Good morning
For the Lame Wolves especiallyHAVE A COOL YULE!
We'll be burning a log later (to ensure that the sun returns next year) and then off to the pub for our choir's final engagement.
Anyone else looking at the lunar eclipse? DS is wrapped up and gone outside. I'll be joining him soon:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning all
Happy Winter Solstice to Mr & Mrs Lamewolf
I've been up since 5.30 - DH left me on the sofa cos I fell asleep but he left the telly on and all the lights so I woke up bloomin early and he left the lights on in the kiddies rooms so they are up early too - we're having words about it later!
Why is trying to chase an order so hard - M&S apparently delivered to me on the 13th of Dec - asked for Proof of Delivery twice now and nothing - can't find a number for them so will be phoning the local store later to get a number and then kicking up a stink - want a refund cos it'll never get here now and also need to phone Amazon and find out what they are up to - I ordered at the beginning of Dec and still nothing - Grrrrrr
Have a safe and warm day everyone
Soappie - hope you get another snow day

Morning All
Waiting for the kids to get dressed so we can take Jerry out then I'll put DS's cream on about 9 - 9.30ish. Should have been on for nearly 3 hours when he has his injection so hopefully it won't hurt or not hurt as much. Hope he doesn't spend the morning in tears after I've put the cream on as that will be a constant reminder to him.
Still got loads to do so I'll see how much I manage to do before we have to go out.
Happy Yule to anyone celebrating.
Have a good day all
Hugs

If that's EMLA, one of the docs I used to work for said you ideally had to put a huge blob on and then ideally cover it with a melolin (sp?) dressing to hold it in the right place.
Can't see a flippin' thing because of the thick cloud.
and I have the dentist later.
Bah.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
