    My list for tonight is:
    Dishes and shiny sink
Load of washing including tea towels
    Dry washing
    Iron washing
Start on bedroom - nice and tidy for Santa :)
Shower - have been unwell and really need to freshen up now :)
Watch film with DH and DS's

Will make a list for tomorrow for myself later tonight :)

Everything happens for a reason :)
  • DD and I had a lovely time in York. We spent nearly an hour in Costa putting the world to rights (and her deciding on her UCAS choices - will submit her application tonight - she want;s to study Costume Design; for stage and screen :T no idea where that comes from. DH and I are both scientists and DS wants to be an engineer *shruggy man smilie* :p )

I've decluttered The Board, so going to do HHC right now .............HSballoons.gif

Spent my HHC in DDs room of doom! How can such a small child make so much mess? Managed to get 2 bin bags of rubbish out so will ditch that before i pick her up.

Gah! Horrible teenage son came home at lunchtime with a couple of friends and I've just seen the kitchen. All the slush/grit/dirt on their shoes from the street is now all over my nice clean floor! I hate to think what the hall carpet has absorbed. I am seriously considering making our home a shoe free area. Ugh Ugh Ugh!

This is my bugbear too. My stupid next door neighbour (we share a drive) has put orange grit and sand EVERYWHERE. It is impossible not to step on it. Why did the previous occupants of this house have a creamy beige carpet in the living room:mad:.

Greenbee - I can't add anything but really feel for you. DH took 3 years to make his mind up between me and the ex 22 years ago. It was the most awful process.

JulieJim - how many HHC's have you done today??? Your house must be looking good!

Worked this morning. Baking a Dundee Cake currently and it smells yummy! Some progress with the list. DS1 hoovered hall stairs and landing for me (faints in amazement).

My boss of 7 weeks gave me 6 bottles of wine as a christmas present! Unfortunately DH has my car and I was on foot so it's still in the office!

    Small progress with today's list.

Was going to do some ironing but a leg fell off my ironing board:rotfl:Will have to get a new one.

I think a better idea would be to give up ironing, just think how much money it would save (board plus electric to power the iron) AND your carbon footprint will be much improved :D It's the way to go ;)

Wow I daren't think how much wine I would have if my boss gave me 6 bottles for every 7 weeks work!!!! Enjoy, and if you need help carrying/consuming it let me know!

Right, just about all presents wrapped, including Dad's presents to Mum (he still has tags to write). I just have the school pics to print and frame for various grand parents/adopted grand parents. For now I had better find some dinner.

    Hi all
Just reporting in....had a productive day, which included an emergency trip to the dentist to get my crown re-cemented!

    Here's what's left of today's lists...

    Kitchen
    Sweep and mop the floor
Clean fridge, wipe out any spills and bring forward anything that needs to be used
Wipe the units, kickboards and appliances
Shine the sink and scrub the tiles
    Wipe window sills
    Extras
    Done

    Monday Mayhem..

So, not too bad then. I've done all my morning dailies and some of the evening ones...I'm planning to sit down and knit this evening as I'm half-way up the back of a jumper for DS, which will never be finished at this rate! Oh, and I've got some of OHs presents to wrap. Evidently the space under the tree will be quite bare for me - he's still waiting on an Amazon order...and we're pretty much snowed in. Never mind - we'll just have to have another Christmas!

Right I'd better rustle up some food for the troops...

    Have a good evening
    Take care
