Anyone joining me for a HHC @ 3.15?
Yes, me...... going to clean stairs and kitchen floor!Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -

All the slush/grit/dirt on their shoes from the street is now all over my nice clean floor! I hate to think what the hall carpet has absorbed. I am seriously considering making our home a shoe free area. Ugh Ugh Ugh!0

Monday Mayhem..
- [STRIKE]Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! It is Bank Holiday on Monday so some shops are not open.. the big supermarkets are.[/STRIKE] OH is a greengrocer, so all the veg is arriving nice and fresh on Friday, and he's got his lists each day to bring back my shopping (bread, meat, cheese etc) from the markets he's on. Working on a market definitely has it's perks...all the produce is much fresher (my potatoes are being dug up on thursday afternoon), and we get it at 'traders' prices
. However, the 4am wakeywakey time doesn't go down too well with the fibro beast. Think it's going to take quite a bit of adjusting to get used to it.
- Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping! Lagging a bit on this one, we're still waiting for a few pressies to arrive, and I've still got 2 to finish knitting!
- [STRIKE]S&S the kitchen[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]S&S the bathroom and loo[/STRIK
- [STRIKE]Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast![/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food[/STRIKE] Cheated a little, I did this yesterday before I joined up, but counted it as today.
- [STRIKE]Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Make sure your timetable for christmas day is sorted and everyone knows their tasks.. who is spud peeling? Who is stuffing the bird etc..?[/STRIKE] We're cheating, and each going to our parents for dinner, then coming home to eat rubbish together!
- [STRIKE]Catch up on the laundry .. ironing is tomorrows job![/STRIKE]
- Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
- [STRIKE]Change pet bedding and wash blankies etc.. we don't want them putting you off your christmas sprouts![/STRIKE] Not quite done, as my puppy still lives at home, but I'm having him for a few days over christmas, so his area of the flat has been cleaned ready for me to steal him :j
- [STRIKE]Dust round the whole flat[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs[/STRIKE] OH doesn't like clutter, so more often than not there's clutter to tidy up...i just have to spend half an hour looking for all the stuff he's moved when decluttering!

Off to put my feet up for 2 minutes before DS gets home.
Sexym - glad you survived!! xx0 -
I have finished the toys and books sorting!!!! With DSs help & a little from DP it's done!! I actually can't believe how much we've managed to get sorted, never ever had such a large clear out ever ever. No rubbish or junk left, all gone, really proud of them how strict they have been with themselves.
So left to do in there/to complete
Move furniture
Check floor for any stray bits that missed a box
Vacuum
Clean windows, Walls and doors
Clean futon
Take all boxes of charity shop/car boot stuff to garage
Then to the next room of doom, the boys bedroom
Sort clothes that are too little
Put clothes away - lots of!
Clean window, wipe Walls/door and dust wardrobe
Clean bed sheets on
Vacuum
If I get all that done I'll be amazed and do another list! Off I go to do 1.5 hours before tea timeOne day I might be more organised...........
