  • Ok i know that it could be on this thread already but rather than trawling lots of pages i have a few questions.

OK i think the BM i have is the older version it has a fast bake mode on it but the only recipe in the manual is for a fruity one i tried readying the manual and think that i can do normal sandwich loaf etc but it will just come out smaller and heavier? so silly question number 1 is can i do normal bread on the fast bake and if so what recipe do i use?

2nd question is what do you keep your bread in? I have tried a tin but is a smaller tin so only ok if i use most of it then use the rest the next morning for toast. I did it in a food bag in the bread bin did not like that, Put it in foil last night as was a big loaf and wanted for today not been to check it yet. So what does everyone suggest?

BTW just loving the BM lol

    Glad you're loving it too!

You can do normal loaf on fastbake. Mixed reviews on here, some love it, I hate it personally, just give it a go and see.

No HM bread will keep like shop bread because it doesn't have the same chemical preservatives. I tend to split the dough into portion sizes and freeze what I won't use for another day. My friend swears by wraping the bread in a hm bread bag then putting in a cupboard. Take a cotton/linene tea towel, fold in half, sew up two sides leaving short side open to put bread in adn out. ;)
