When making pitta bread, you should wrap the baked pitta breads up in a tea towel when they are cooked so they stay nice and soft, otherwise they go crunchy, which is not quite the effect you want.
Am making fruit cake in mine at the moment! It smells yummy!

Hi Furball, just check it's got the mixer blade and instruction manual in the box when you pick it up. Lots of tips in this thread for best/cheapest flour to use.
Make sure you buy fast-acting sachets of yeast.
Go easy on the salt and sugar.
Don't bother with powdered milk (unless you use it anyway - it goes off too quickly!).
Use oil for a v crisp crust and light bread or marge for a softer crust and "cakier" bread.
    Measure carefully!
    Enjoy!

Depends on whether you want your bread to taste like coffeemate!

What do you want to make? I can probably find a non milk powder recipe for you. (Was it normal white bread? or rolls? or something else?)

Could someone please tell me what the consistancy is when making chocolate bread. I have measured all the ingredients but when bread maker mixed it  looks like a cake mixture and not a ball of dough is this right.
