Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

I've still got another 1hr and 43mins till mine is ready!!! Hate it when I can smell it and not eat it
You do realise that we're all going to get fat from eatting too much bread :rotfl:Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

water/milkpowder/yeast as per MR basic recipe:
1 1/2 cups of water
4 tablespoons of milk powder
1 1/4 teasps of yeast
That's to make a two pound loaf.
I got the seeds from Asda........in the bakery section near the flour...around 30p a packet (100g) if I remember rightly. I'm sure that they could be found cheaper somewhere else, but I couldn't resist grabbing them when I was in buying flour.
I find using a combination of value plain flour and strong bread flour (half and half) doesn't seem to compromise the taste but makes each loaf a bit cheaper.

Hi there breadmaker crew!
I've been reading this thread and have got the BM bug, so now i've succumbed and ordered a MRFB from ebay at a good price £34.98 inc p&p.
Ooh I can't wait! I just love bread and am looking forward to experimenting. Your tips so far sound fab0 -
We've got the chocolate loaf with walnuts cooking as I type (son baking again - he's home ed'ed) so I'll let you know how that goes.
We're also trying Morrisons strong flour versus Hovis last time as its cheaper.
Tomorrow we will be out of ordinary bread again so I think we'll try a seeded. Haven't got seeded flour but we do have some sesame seeds as luckily we do have a Graves near usUndecided yet whether to put on top or scatter within.
I live in my own little world. But it's okay. They know me here.0 -
It's done! Smells lovely, looks lovely and the bit I picked from the bottom where the blade was tastes yummy!
Wondering whether I really should wait for it to cool and get some butter or if I should eat some now :rotfl:Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
