Got my second in today! This is for school lunches tomorrow or I wouldn't bother. The first I made today was more a test to see if it was still working
Will hopefully do about 1 every couple of days for lunches and for soup.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
My first loaf is nearly finished - just a plain white to try it out. I made a 1lb one and it's quite small - is that to be expected?
3 hours is a long time to wait!
It just came out! The blade got stuck!
I took a picture but I don't know how to post it.0 -

Hi everyone,
I have used two different breadmakers before, first one lasted for 3 years, second one bought from Aldi lasted only for a couple of months!
Was going to buy Panasonic as I really want a good quality breadmaker but seeing this thread, I am not so sure now.
I am thinking of Morphy Richards Fastbake instead, I suppose it is a good breadmaker?0 -
Hi malamala,
It's my first breadmaker, so I can't compare it with others, but I have had brilliant results every time. I only got mine last week but I've made at least 10 loaves so far and I really don't think I'll go back to buying bread in the shops again.
From reading the posts on Old Style, ideally I would have liked a panasonic too, but I couldn't resist the price of the morphy richards fast bake.....I really didn't want to spend a small fortune on a machine only to find out that breadmaking wasn't for me.
There are some reviews on the fastbake on Amazon although as far as I can make out, everyone here who has bought one is delighted with it.
For details on how to get the breadmaker for £14.50 have a look at this thread: Cheapest decent BM?
