Not sure when you would eat it really

You could use it in a bread and butter pudding ... that would help with the dryness. ;)

edit... Sorry lynzpower, took that long reading the entries missed your entry suggesting B&B Pudding!

Recipe for bread and butter pudding anyone please? I have a feeling I don't like it though. Doesn't it have dried fruit in it? (I hate dried fruit).

Clotted cream on toast Lynz? Don't encourage us. At least I put my choc bread in a bowl and put cream on it. DS just squirted the cream on and ate a still warm choc bread and cream sandwich :rotfl:

Bread and butter pudding usually has rasins/sultanas/currants in (always get them confused) but I don't see why you can't make it without!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

    Hi november,

No it doesn't have to have dried fruit in it.....lots of recipes on this older thread: bread and butter pudding including banana and chocolate versions

    Thanks :)

No I don't like it as I don't like custard. The rest of the family may though so I'll have to ask them :D

    Hi

What about the low calorie version ... chocolate bread with choclate spread!

Would it do any good at the bottom of a trifle?

 Hiya fellow home ed'er. How old is your son? (sorry slight side track but its all relevant honest ;) ) Cooking was the only thing my DS would do to start with apart from decorating. The novelty had worn off both but I've found kitchen gadgets work well as a motivational tool ..... well that and eating the finished object :D

(another note to Chipps - I think my confidence building exercises must have gone too far :rotfl: )

    Hi November,
we just have one DS at home now, he is 16 - so near the end of the home ed journey! Our older son was also home ed & is now in gainful employment!

To keep this on the MR FB BM track - DS does like eating HM bread! (especially the fastbake loaf!)
