Writing off last week as a disaster and determined to stick to the budget this week. I've decided where I'm going wrong is keeping debit card in purse instead of doing what I used to and withdrawing budget each week, keeping it in labelled envelopes and putting debit card safely away from me.

This week I'm going to do it by the envelope method but with mugs in kitchen cupboard and am going to just give myself £10 Shopping budget for milk, fruit and bread cos did big shop on Saturday.

    £10 Shopping, £20 Petrol, £10 Unnecessary

    M - NSD
    T - £1.28 shopping
    T - £2.70 launderette (washed quilt)
    T- £0.80 shopping
    W - £20 Petrol
    Th - £5.08 shopping
    Th - £6.80 Unnecessary
    F - £18.90 Meal out with parents
    F - £10.65 Petrol and mints
JUST DO IT ONE BRICK AT A TIME
PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS
    Weekly Budget: groceries£50/petrol£50/Unnecesary£15
    DEBT PAID = 58% (£4,212/£8216):T

YAY UNDER £4K!!! But my fence in back garden has collapsed in this lovely weather and I will need to have it redone :( which will bring it back up to well over £4k!! I will be getting quotes this week.

Well I've totally lost the plot and gone way off track .... again :o

I spent £48 on a Morrisons shop at the weekend, then £7 on Unnecessary snacks on Monday n Tuesday and then ... get this :o:o £150 on a Tesco online shop last night :eek::eek: Ok so this does include some Christmas presents, the turkey, loads of value stuff n the Christmas booze .... but OUCH :eek::eek: and then to top it off I forgot beer for the dustbin men and postman, liver for the dogs and my dd has come down poorly overnight and I am running out of medicine ..... and they won't let me add to the order cos the cut off time was 04.29 this morning

On the up side I suppose at least I have ordered things that will get used and not gone out on a spending street buying myself designer clothes :D

Not sure how to budget over the next few weeks now cos obviously shopping should be minimal. So maybe knock the shopping down to £10 for fresh fruit/veg and milk

Once it all arrives later on I will to a store cupboard list and meal plan the next few weeks to make me feel better about how far it will stretch.
