    Hi,

I've just totted everything off and have managed to clear 66.38 this week!!

I know it's 34 off target, but I'm getting closer to being able to start matched betting again so then I should be on target every week!!

I'm really pleased with the 66.38 as I had to move house at the begining of this year and rent out my house and each month I have to make up an extra 162 on top of the tenants rent to meet the mortgage repayment plus pay my own rent of 525 aswell!!

Ani*fan - how are you doing on the Olympic Challenge?

    Hi Jet

I've made £13.29 on eBay. I was really pleased and am now rummaging my cupboards for more stuff to sell.

I have a plan to sell the equipment I use at work to my employer. It currently belongs to me and they should have provided equipment for me a year ago! If this goes well, I will make around £830.

I've started looking at matched betting but need to get a proper handle on it before trying anything.

Other than this, I'm trying to cut down my monthly essential spend. I haven't posted my SOA yet but might pluck up the courage in a few days.

On the whole, it's all looking good. And such a relief to feel so in control!

    How's it going with you?

    Hi,

I've update my sig - I've only paid of 9.26 this week - but this is due to unavoidable expenses at the end of April.

I'm going to start MBing around 12th May (after rents gone out of account) and advertise French translation on Ebay.

I'm a bit disheartened with all the crap (soz I mean goodies) left from the carboots I've been to. I'm going to try 1 more and then give the rest to charity. I Ebayed what I though would sell but the clothes just don't seem to go and then at a car boot they only go for 20-50p each!!

Your sig's looking great ani*fan!!! - look at what you've achieved in 1 month!!

I've also found out that I should be entitled to Housing benefit and may be able to get back payment from 6/01/07 - this would help me soooooo much. I would be able to pay off my Lloyds overdraft and pay about 300 a month more off my debts!! That would bring my dfd forward to about end of July and would make me df by my 30th bday!!

    Luv Jx

Ooops - still hvn't placed a matched bet!!

Housing benefit have paid out from 02/04/07 and say cheques in the post but haven't dealt with the back pay I should be entitled to yet. They've also calculated my claim as 30 pounds a week less than the entitledto.co.uk calculator says I should get so I'm going to appeal.

Still doing more home cooking but am having a week off the Unnecessary Challenge coz got a new dog and spent some of my budget on essentials for him.

Back on course as from today with the Unnecesary Challenge - have drawn out money and am about to get my faithful envelopes out to allocate the money.

    :-/ Still haven't placed a matched bet!!!

:-/ Still haven't advertised translation on Ebay!!!

:-) But have started getting sponsors for my parachute jump!!! (only 10k feet!!)

Am going to do some baking for lunch boxes either 2moro morning (if I get up early enough) or 2moro night - have got rhubarb and bananas to use up.

Housing benefit have sorted out the back pay but still at a 30 pounds a week less than the entitledto calculator says. I've got to write in to appeal against the rent officers decision to put a cap on my rent.

I've also got to pay double childcare costs for 3 out of 6 of the summer holiday weeks so I need to ring WFTC and tell them coz it may mean that they contribute more.

:-( My tenants have had a smashed window at the front of the house - reckon a ball went in to it so that's a 150 excess about to come my way

Think that's about it for now. I must start posting every Friday again so I can see where I'm at!!

Great to hear you feeling a bit more positive hun...

I'v been far too lazy with matched betting too. I really must send my verification to BetFair!!!! You almost feel bad because theres so much money to be had there and I especially feel like I'm sitting on my hands on that one!

I think you're doing fantastically with your debts, once it gets down to £3k etc you can really start to feel it go down!

We've got much similar debts you and I, well I'm 1k over yours lol, but whats a grand eh?! LOL
Maybe we could have a mini challenge between the two of us? Or even start a new post for those under 5k?

Hi CAFCGirl - I think a post for those under 5k would be gr8 - maybe with milestones of getting under the next grand mark. I don't think I could commit to a challenge coz I put myself under too much pressure and make myself ill but with a thread you can pop in and say hi rather than right the pressures on. Does that make sense?

I popped on to leave myself a note to look in to free school meals, free vitamin/milk vouchers because I've been approved for housing benefit so should be entitled now.
