    OMMMMMMGGGGGGGG

I have been itching for this thread to start and I missed it!! Filled the form in but no updates yet. We've OP'd £900 this year, aiming for £11940 OP next year due to my payrise and student loan almost gone.

    :o)

To galadriel and others who are doing the same, just a quick reminder that it's completely up to you whether you declare amounts saved for mortgage purposes, or wait until you make the capital payment. Personally I declare the monthly savings as I find that more motivational, some others prefer not to :D

Yes, declaring monthly savings sounds a good idea, have already made a start by closing an old bank account and transferring the water rates
payment to my savings account - no water rates to pay from December to March, £214 saved already. :j
  • I would like to join in! Been thinking about overpaying for a while and the emergency saving fund is nearly there! So hopefully will be able to start OP later in the year.

    My target will be £1,500.

    Hi Cake21! :j

Can I please join in the fun for 2011 please?
Our target is to get rid of the unsecured loan part of our mortgage, so £10K it will be!

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Hi Cake,

I'm afraid I can't play anymore but I wanted to pop in and wish everyone the very best of luck with their targets. Hope you can all top the 2010 figure - is the £1m mark lost or did we make it in the end?

Particular good luck to Galadriel - hope #17 is as good to you as it was to me!!

    Cheers,

    Billy

Thanks Billy, you and the other 2010 graduates are an inspiration
On the 2010 front we are tantalisingly close to £1m and updates are still coming in :j
