Well, how quickly the old year is forgotten! :rotfl:

I thought I'd just give a final total for the payments made and recorded for this challenge. Unfortunately, we didn't make the overall target for the year though that was an incredible £1,343,694.

So the actual payments made for the whole MFW 2011 challenge was £888,966 which is blooming brilliant!!! :T:beer::j:money:

The average year to date payment made by a challenger was £4,041 while the highest was £70,350.

I think we should all give ourselves a huge :T for a truly fantastic acheivement. I hope we can match that on the MFW 2012 challenge. If you want to join us for this year, please click the link and you will be most welcome. :D

Sorry I'm late updating been busy with baby :D
Done a couple of updates on googledocs but not sure if they'll get added now so I'll write it here too.
    Target for 2011: £1200
    OP Total for 2011: £2635.27.
Not bad since I've been on maternity leave since Spring, had lots of work done on the house earlier in the year and we've had a couple of holidays (not abroad but we had a great time).
Negative is we drew down some money from OP reserve to help buy a car (but this was an essential purchase for OH's new job) so our mortgage has only reduced by £2070.01.
Still its better than having a car loan or finance and really I'm just happy we haven't had to take a baby break from the mortgage payments. Thought we'd have to do this for the last few months of my mat leave but we've been OK.
Happy New Year! Hope 2012 is a good one with lots of OPs for you all :T
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
    MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £4939 :D
Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013 :)

Only 3rd of Jan Spigs, last year took til middle of Jan before people finished updating. Its a busy time of year ;). Just looked back at 2010 thread and final update was done by Cake on 1st Feb with combined totals on 2nd Feb. Total at the end of November last year was £834,081 not greatly different from this years total done early in Jan. More time and I reckon updates would have come close to the million target. Still not to worry, I'm off to focus on 2012 ;)
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
