Happy Christmas...0 -
Thanks for adding me automatically cake you're a star!
We're coming in at £1859.00 overpaid this year - not upto our target but we've still been finishing the house and garden so l'm pleased anyway.
We only have the utility and internal doors and we're done. So l really, really want to get to £5k overpaid this year. :T
Good luck everyone! and Merry Christmas too xx

Hi can I join in my first challenge - have completed the online form, so hopefully that's OK.
On fixed rate mortgage @5.85% which finishes in March 2011. No OP allowed on current mortgage, so target will be to reduce Mortgage from current ~£78,000 to £70,000.
Current MF date= March 2028, Target MF date= March 20180 -
Hey...failed miserably in 2010 to make any overpayments.....:( would like to try in 2011 please.... my target will be £1000.
thanks0 -
Hi, could I join? My target for 2011 is to repay £27,000 which is 10% of my outstanding mortgage and the maximum I'm allowed to overpay. I can't start overpaying until May 2011 though, but I could make updates on how much I have saved up towards the OP I guess?
Thanks, RM.0 -
Hello :hello:
Having made my last overpayment of 2010 on Thursday I would like to join the 2011 challenge please, with the aim of overpaying £5,988, as much as I can without incurring penalties.
Thanks to cake for organising the thread.

I would like to join this one.
My target for 2011 will be £1200,as am allowed a 5% overpayment per year, and this works out approx. £2750, so hopefully will exceed my target but still have scope to push for more.
We are planning to move next year and looking to double our mortgage, so will have to revise target when that happens.
