I intend to save at least £50 per month in a separate bank account until I have £500, then pay it over.
To galadriel and others who are doing the same, just a quick reminder that it's completely up to you whether you declare amounts saved for mortgage purposes, or wait until you make the capital payment. Personally I declare the monthly savings as I find that more motivational, some others prefer not to 0 0

            Hi Cake
Can you amend my target to be £2400 for the year please? £200 per month. My target for 2010 was only £800 as I only started in September.
 Cheers

            Hi Cake,
Thanks for running this again! Number 22 checking in - I'll stick to the £3000 as set already - although I'll probably start off slow, as have got a wedding to pay for in April. But after that it'll be full steam ahead!!! Very excited, seems such a short time ago that I signed up for 2010!0

Hi Cake, Sorry for falling off the waggon this year (hangs head in shame!!) but the split up and everything meant that all the targets changed. So for next year can I change my target to £7,500 please. This won't be overpayments but reducing the net amount I owe.
 Good luck for next year all!!Mortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640
