Erm
Today I sent off a lump some overpayment of £1000 to the Britannia. No Michelle don't worry. This is not my rainy day money. I renewed my tax credit claim last week and when I logged on to online banking today. A lump some payment of £618 had been deposited in my account. As it is unexpected money I have used it as an overpayment and rounded it up to £1K. I have yet to receive the paperwork to check but did earn £1k less last year than the year before due to illness.
I haven't wasted the money.
My new balance is £1230
Hope you are all having a good dayMortgage Free as of 31/5/11 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

Northern Rock contacted me yesterday about their new Regular Savings account, so I've used most of my eBay sales money (currently £610) to open 2 (me & OH) with maximum monthly deposit (£250 x2).
We have a few maturing in the next couple of months.
New overpayment figure for May is £2,250.
No more will be added this month.
I've still got a few more things to eBay, but I think we'll treat ourselves to a nice meal out with some of the proceeds.0 -
