#112 - very unlikely we'll be able to overpay this month just in case we both get the Olympic tickets we requested. Highly unlikely we'll get any but don't want to risk having to use our (never used) overdraft facility. Itching to overpay. I have about £2000 sitting around doing nothing!

Opening (no chance, then) and a few other things. Don't want to risk emptying my accounts and then having to pay interest on the overdraft.

I was lucky enough to see some of the Commonwealth Games events when it was in Manchester 2002. Never really been into Athletics before then but I will always remember that day - it was amazing and you get really caught up in the atmosphere - I enjoy watching it on TV now. I also saw some of the Mens Gymnastics.....now that was something else!

I got a place because the company I worked for was one of the suppliers. I have the dubious honour of an 'Access certain areas' badge clearing me for 'Catering, Waste and Sundries'. Just about sums up my life :rotfl:

Hope you get what you want evi3000 am sure it will be a fantastic experience

We've gone for the Opening too, Athletics heat (AM session), plus the night of the Mens' 100m Final.
£596 if we are successful and get them all.

May Overpayment is £1,750 so far.

Hoping to add to that figure before the end of the month, since I have been selling odds and sods on eBay inthe last few weeks.

#192 reporting in with my standard OP for May - £500. Was hoping to pay off more but have had some unexpected expenses like a new tyre for the car (£225!!!) and booked a holiday just two weels before going so had to pay the full balance. Looking forward to the break though, I can happily say it is well deserved and much needed.
What goes around comes around.....I hope!
