I didn't get any of the tickets I requested for the Olympic Games, so I have put some of that money (£500) towards the overpayments for May.

#192 reporting in for June with "standard" OP of £500.
Have just returned from holiday (all paid for now) and by the end of June will be in the position where I could pay off my mortgage if I used all my savings, so am very happy with that. :j
I won't be doing that as I want to keep a substantial cushion available to me (have hoped to take an extended break from work for some time now, but makes more sense to get MF first).
In a dilemma now as to whether to keep saving or now use all spare money to pay off the mortgage. My savings are currently paying me about 0.5% over what my mortgage is costing, but I find it so motivational seeing the mortgage baclance go down, hence the reason I have been chipping away at it whilst still saving. :undecidedWhat goes around comes around.....I hope!0
