I am now no.98. Thanks Cake.
I have been lurking around this post for a while now and am impressed with everyone's efforts to get MF asap. It doesn't matter how big or small your OP is it is all going to reduce the debt and the amount the banks make out of us all.
I am horrified when I see how huge my mortgage is and am more motivated than ever to reduce it as fast as I can. I know my OP target is ambitious but OH and I have reduced our outgoing's as far as we can (within comfort) and we have no other debt but our mortgage now, so we always planned to start OP before we got used to having the 'extra' cash in the bank.
I am also currently trying to remortgage to a lower rate as we are on a horrific 7.49% fixed rate (taken out just as the credit crunch hit at end of 2008 just we were having to move... horrible time)
If that works out we will be able to OP more but i'm not counting my chickens until we get confirmation of a remortgage offer.
Otherwise a quick resume of my family circumstances; I am married, 3 x kids, aged 11, 9 & 5. OH and I both work full time and are very fortunate to have secure jobs with good pay.
I would love to have my mortgage paid in full in 12 years, sooner if I can manage it.
I have just started e-baying and clearing out anything that moves to sell on!
Can't think of anything else just now

I made my first ebay sales tonight and have made £59.61. All very exciting and will be going towards my OP pot, also have £5 BOS reward, £16.10 from TCB and £10.00 lottery win from last night (if only every week could be this good.....)
That makes £90.71 so far in June :j0 -
Overpayment goes out on the first of the month, but a bit late in reporting our state of play for June. It's as follows:
#29 - Overpay by £2,050.00
Month: Ideal Pay / Ideal Total / Ideal % / Actual Pay / Actual Total (Diff) / Actual %
January: 170.83 / 170.83 / 8.33% / 70.67 / 70.67 (100.16) / 3.45%
February: 170.83 / 341.67 / 16.67% / 70.67 / 141.34 (200.33) / 6.89%
March: 170.83 / 512.50 / 25.00% / 120.67 / 262.01 (250.49) / 12.78%
April: 170.83 / 683.33 / 33.33% / 200.00 / 462.01 (221.32) / 22.54%
May: 170.83 / 854.17 / 41.67% / 200.00 / 662.01 (192.16) / 32.29%
June: 170.83 / 1,025.00 / 50.00% / 200.00 / 862.01 (162.99) / 42.05%
Total overpaid: £862.01
Finances are tight at present, but I'm now only 162.99 behind my ideal schedule.
I'm kind of prone to make wild and unachievable goals, but this one should be achievable providing we keep throwing £200 as overpayments each month.
BoE base rate being kept at 0.5% helps us too - our mortgage rate is currently 2.5% (Nationwide BMR).

Hi all
Well done on all the hard work everyone!
Belated update for May - an OP of £495. Again, miles off our target, eek! But my other half took me away for an amazing weekend for my 30th  so all for a good cause
I've decided I need to look for another job, I really enjoy mine but the pay is awful and the work complicated and stressful. Found out my colleague is on 2.5k more than me which doesn't help! So hopefully I can contribute more to OPs soon. Watch this space!
Love Lady xx0
