    They are set at H/O but at the same time there's nothing stopping staff replacing the price ticket so it refects the actual price of an item as soon as they are aware it's scanning wrong at the till's, even if the reprinted price ticket is wrong usually it only takes a phone call/email to the right dept to get the correct ticket sent through, in the past we've even replaced the wrong ticket with a hand written one so the right price is up whilst waiting for the details to be sorted out, might not look the nicest but makes life easier for customers.

    Debenhams say we have to go back to the store to sort it, over 40 miles round trip!!!

    i was refering to teh theory that staff overcharge customers on purpose when they actually dont have a hand in it,

    OK point taken, BUT that poster is not the one we saw behind the counter with the Daily Occasion on it! It clearly showed a latte and a slice of cake!
    Plus when I had queued up to ask where the cake was the staff member said "no" and turned her back on me to do something else! As I said earlier no interaction with staff there!


    That is a very odd response to your question

    Q - "Where is the cake"
    A - "No"

    Makes no sense whatsoever.

    Your responsibility to check receipts before you leave shop. Otherwise you have to go back, they're not going to visit you are they!
